French AW winner picked up for 55,000 gns in November. Form is impossible to evaluate although it does appear the handicapper has taken few chances. One to watch in the market.
Run of success ended at Windsor when the combination of ground, trip and how the race developed all counted against her. Should give a better account providing there is no further rain.
Proved too keen for her own good last term but settled under a patient ride at Newmarket on her return. The front two have gone well since off considerably higher marks. Has strong claims given she will come on for the run and is bred to appreciate the extra yardage.
Improved for the switch to this trip last time and the winner has scored again since. Has posted two solid efforts here and another bold display from the front is expected.
Took advantage of a hanging rival to edge him close home at Yarmouth on debut. Fifth to the same horse at Pontefract when again finishing well from off the pace and off the track since. Stable have returned to form and this longer trip should help.
Scored in the first time hood on handicap debut at Nottingham. Still looked green that day and more than capable of defying a 6lb higher mark.
200,000 gns yearling related to several winners who were effective from 6f-1m. Dam was a sprinter and sire a miler so obvious stamina doubts here. Form of her debut effort, impressive as it was, has been significantly devalued since.
Forecasts
Dubara (2/1), Billesdon Bess (4/1), Harebell (9/2), Perfect Quest (7/1), Kind of Beauty (8/1), Hidden Charms (8/1), Fengate (12/1)
Some solid recent form is on show for his with Perfect Quest setting a high standard following two victories this term and a run that needs to be ignored last time. Harebell and Hidden Charms have room to improve with the former having achieved more when scoring at Nottingham. Billesdon Bess handles this track well but her front-running style will set this up for DUBARA. Luca Cumani's filly is bred to do better over middle-distances this season and should find this easier than the hot race she contested at Newmarket on her return. She is on the same mark here and the subsequent efforts of the first two suggest she has little to find to land this.
- Dubara
- Billesdon Bess
- Perfect Quest
