9/4
Experienced performer who has few secrets from the handicapper, but has run well on her last two starts at Sandown and Chepstow. Has not won for quite a while, though, and may be vulnerable off top weight.

Daisy Boyt32
Age: 6|  Weight: 9-8| J: Aaron Jones(3)| T: S C Williams| OR:  71| D
5/1
Frontrunner who not been at his best in recent starts, but has dropped down the handicap accordingly and is a pound lower than his last win over this trip at Chelmsford in April, last year. Would be of interest for his shrewd stable if the market speaks in his favour.

C'Est No Mour29
Age: 4|  Weight: 9-7| J: Tom Marquand| T: P Hedger| OR:  70
8/1
Least experienced member of the field. Has been running in bumpers and maidens and showed some ability last time when sixth of 15 at Windsor. Not obviously well in on his handicap debut, but worth a check in the market.

13/2
Won at Bath and Lingfield last year, but has not been in the same form in two outings this time round. He has dropped a couple of pounds, but needs to show more before becoming a betting proposition.

Smiley Bagel24
Age: 4|  Weight: 9-6| J: R Kingscote| T: E Walker| OR:  69| D
6/1
Successful four times in a row on the AW from February to Aprll, but struggled off a higher mark at Wolverhampton and flopped on turf at Doncaster last time. Dangerous to dismiss, but those two recent disappointments are not easily forgiven.

Becca Campbellp21
Age: 4|  Weight: 9-6| J: Georgia Cox(5)| T: Eve Johnson Houghton| OR:  69| CD
5/1
Won a C&D handicap two starts ago, but not so good off 5lb higher at Brighton last time. Seems to have two ways of running, but clearly has the ability to go close if on a going day at a track which suits off 1lb lower than last time.

Inn The Bull236
Age: 4|  Weight: 9-4| J: F Sweeney| T: A King| OR:  67
10/1
Won as a juvenile, but struggled in handicaps last season. Successful on his hurdling debut at Ludlow in October and is of obvious interest if able to show that ability back on the Flat after his lay-off.

Megalala21
Age: 16|  Weight: 8-2| J: Milly Naseb(7)| T: J J Bridger| OR:  47| CD
33/1
Veteran of 143 races who is amazingly sprightly despite his years. Well held at Brighton last time, he is a prominent racer who is sure to give it his best shot but is likely to find younger legs too fast.

Forecasts

Ghinia (9/4), Daisy Boy (5/1), Becca Campbell (5/1), Smiley Bagel (6/1), Pack It In (13/2), C'Est No Mour (8/1), Inn The Bull (10/1), Anton Chigurh (12/1), Megalala (33/1)

Verdict

Not many of these leap off the page and the obvious starting point is recent C&D winner Becca Campbell, who is only 4lb higher than when successful. She can go close if regaining that form, but INN THE BULL is lurking on an attractive mark and was last seen winning a juvenile hurdle. He can take this is in the same sort of mood. Any money for Daisy Boy could be significant.
