Teofilo filly not beaten all that far on handicap debut last time and looks like the type to do better this year. Handicap mark looks a little stiff but not discounted with improvement on the cards and more experience under her belt than some of these.

New Approach filly who won what now appears to be a weak looking maiden at Lingfield two starts back. Couldn't back that up at Pontefract last time and been given a 1lb rise for that effort but winner has come out and won since so she's not dismissed if she continues to develop.

Third behind two smart fillies on Newmarket debut over 7f, including Prix Marcel Boussac winner Wuheida, and confirmed the promise of that run last time with a win at Bath in a maiden. Will find things tougher in a handicap no doubt but more progress on the cards at least.

Plenty of promise displayed on debut at Newcastle when finishing runner-up and has won both subsequent starts on turf, arriving here in search of a hat-trick. Form of her most recent win has been franked to some extent since and she's entitled to come on for that run so she has to be a leading player here.

Still a maiden after four starts but did run well in a Thirsk maiden last year on her second start. Type to do better with time and may need this run after an absence but trainer does well with his fillies so can't be ruled out, particularly if there's market support.

Forecasts

White Chocolate (5/4), Mittens (7/2), Berengaria (4/1), Nathania (5/1), Gallifrey (6/1), Iconic Belle (12/1)

Verdict

WHITE CHOCOLATE could be a tough nut to crack in her hat-trick bid and she may come on for her most recent run. Gallifrey could be the main threat if she takes up this engagement rather than the race she's entered for at Sandown on Thursday. The Mark Johnston filly, Berengaria, showed a liking for testing conditions last time and can't be ruled out with more improvement expected.
  1. White Chocolate
  2. Gallifrey
  3. Berengaria
