Not a lot to enthuse over in five outings over hurdles this year and appears to be high enough in the ratings for now. Tough task on again.
Decent Flat winner, not disgraced in four outings over timber so far and showed some progress on each occasion, including at Tramore in April when upped to 2m5f. Needs something extra but certainly not out of things.
Best recent effort came when runner-up in a 19 runner contest over 2m4f at Tipperary (good) on his penultimate outing. Disappointed subsequently and an interesting runner today.
First run for this yard when making handicap debt at Wexford (2m4f, good) 16 days ago and shaped with some promise. Can get involved if there is more to come.
Won 2m soft ground handicap at Limerick on penultimate start, then pulled up over 2m4f at Tipperary racing off 7lb higher mark in what was a competitive contest. This also looks challenging on paper.
Solid effort when finishing runner-up over 1m2f at Cork (good) last month on the Flat in his third start for this stable. Has every chance on his previous hurdles form.
Just the one success in 23 starts under rules, came over this sort of trip at Cork in August. Remains 4lb higher in the ratings now but has some decent placed form too and not discounted.
A lightly-raced maiden, he created a decent impression on handicap bow at Tipperary over this sort of trip 29 days ago and has to be taken very seriously here off the same mark.
Has gone well around here on the Flat before and scored decisive handicap hurdle win last time at Punchestown (2m1f, good). Has been raised 8lb for that success but stays close to the top of the shortlist with potential for more on just sixth start over timber.
Listowel winner in June but not managed to as much as place since until his most recent at Tipperary. Looks on a fair mark and may be able to build on that but her jumping can be sketchy at times so she's not one to put a whole lot of faith in.
Dropped 12lb over the last year as form has taken a nose dive and no signal that he's ready to win a race again when beaten 82L at Ballinrobe (2m1f, good) in early May from 3lb higher mark.
Career tally of 1 win from 29 runs under rules is not inspiring, been very poor in two outings of late and, at 11-years-old, difficult to see a corner being turned.
Point-to-point winner and run well the last twice most recently over C&D (good) last time out. Yard are going well and can be given a chance on form.
C&D winner returned to hurdling last time at Punchestown but wasn't seen to best effect with hold up tactics employed. Could easily go well here with more positive ride.
Lightly-raced sort has gone well in both handicap hurdles to date, beaten just ½L at Punchestown in 20-runner event latest. Up 4lb for that but is very much one to consider.
Lightly-raced sort and produced best effort to date over 2m4f (good) at Fairyhouse in October to be second off a mark of 88. Must prove fitness but leading yard can have one ready and betting check is advised.
Tidy success at Listowel four days ago in recording victory over 2m4f on yielding ground. Carries a penalty for that win but remains in the narrative.
Couple of improved efforts late from this lightly-raced gelding, including when going down just a neck over 2m6f (soft to heavy in places) last time out at Limerick. Going the right way and one to consider down in distance.

Forecasts
Rockey Storm (9/2), Just Janice (7/1), Swift (7/1), Broder (7/1), Sweet Home Chicago (9/1), Steamboat Quay (12/1), War Of The Pennys (12/1), Go Forty Go (14/1), Whats In It For Me (14/1), Talsara (14/1), Simiel (16/1), Una's Pleasure (16/1), Tidy Zag (20/1), Crafty Codger (20/1), Swordfight (20/1), Fiddlers Bow (25/1), Celtic Monarch (50/1), Fairy Court (50/1), Pump Road (50/1)
Swift was in fine fettle a few days ago winning at Tramore and should go well despite the penalty he carries while Rockey Storm must enter calculations having put up a notable C&D performance last time out. Swordfight has been improving timber and is not out of this but perhaps Steamboat Quay is the more likely from the Elliott duo on the back of a solid final start last year. Former C&D winner Simiel needs positive tactics in all likelihood but could be dangerous from the front end but the vote goes with TALSARA who scored decisively at Punchestown recently and has the potential to improve again and defy the hike in the weights.
