Course winner in September 2016 (1m good to soft), and races from a fairly similar mark. Likely to have drawn considerable benefit from an outing at Redcar last week and should go well.
Lightly raced ex-Irish maiden who showed improved form on stable debut at Ayr last month (1m1f good) to be 2L fifth of 12 in an apprentices handicap. Should have more to offer.
Dual C&D winner in 2014 and dropped back to a mark in the 50's for the first time since when 1½L third to Kiwi Bay at Ayr for this rider latest. Goes well with cut and a major player.
13 race maiden and having just his third start for this trainer, but hasn't shown a great deal recently and the pick of his form for Karl Burke has come on Tapeta or Polytrack.
His sole career success came over 7F at Ayr in May 2016, and he's ran well enough at that west coast venue twice already in 2017 without necessarily looking like winning. On a reasonable enough mark and this is a very uncompetitive race.
Yet to race on grass, but is an 11 race AW maiden. Her best effort to date came from the front when beaten under 1L by Pensax Lady in a Wolverhampton Classified Stakes in November 2016 (1m1f+).
Just one win from 28 starts on turf, and tends to save his best for the AW (four from 29). Well beaten back on grass at Hamilton recently (fourth), but the runner up Archipeligo has won by 7L since.
Well beaten returned from a lengthy absence at Musselburgh last month, and whilst a C&D winner in August 2016, is more of a Beverley specialist. Getting long in the tooth and might need another run before being more competitive.

Strong isn't a word to be readily used when discussing these horses, but with a number of course winners in this race, it's fair to say that Division 2 is slightly stronger than Division 1 half an hour earlier. REMEMBER ROCKY is becoming increasingly well treated (now from marks in the 50's), and with conditions to suit and a useful 7lb claimer booked, this dual C&D winner is favoured at the expense of Im Dapper Too and Colour Contrast.
