Kodaic filly bred to appreciate a little further than this but justified favouritism over this trip at Thirsk last time. Has to carry a penalty but should go well again for a trainer who has a 25% strike-rate around here and draw is ideal.
Zoffany filly, cost €70,000 as a yearling. Yard having a fine season with their juveniles and her dam won over 6f so there's enough speed in her pedigree to suggest she'll go well here. Good chance she'll appreciate cut in the ground given her sire.
Dandy Man filly, cost 10,000 gns as a yearling. Some promise on debut but well beaten at Catterick last time and likely to do better when tackling handicaps.
Kyllachy filly, cost 38,000 gns as a foal and £42,000 as a yearling. Dam was a Group 2 5f winner and sister to a 6f winner. Finished runner-up in a three-runner contest at Goodwood last week and entitled to progress from that but hard to know what the form of that contest is worth; suspicion is she may struggle against likely stronger opposition.
Captain Gerrard filly with plenty of stamina in her pedigree on her dam's side. Well beaten over 6f on debut and hard to fancy dropped back in trip here.
Exceed and Excel filly, cost €17,000 as a yearling and €30,000. Half-sister to useful French 6f winner Bohemian and dam a sprint winner and half-sister to Listed placed Bengala. Likely to need her debut run but could have enough speed for this test so she's not dismissed out of hand.
Dandy Man filly, cost 120,000 gns as a foal. Half-sister to Group Three winning sprinter Extortionist and stable are 6-17 with their youngsters this year. Market can reveal expectations but should go well.

Forecasts
Validator (1/2), Glaceon (5/1), Looks A Million (8/1), Utterly Charming (10/1), Retained (16/1), Star Of Siena (25/1), Olive Mabel (50/1), Hope And Glory (66/1)
VALIDATOR is likely to be hard to beat after a comfortable win at Thirsk last time. Clive Cox and Richard Hannon have both done well with their two-year-olds this season and Utterly Charming and Glaceon make plenty of appeal on paper.
