Four of her five wins have been at around this trip and she is back on the same mark as the last of those at Nottingham in April last year. All of her best form is with some cut in the ground, so the forecast rain is very much a positive and she is likely to be right there at the business end.
Represents a yard going quite well and was in form himself with a Nottingham success (1m½f, good) a couple of starts ago. Out of his depth last time, but the handicapper has seen sense and from 2lb higher than that last win he should again be competitive.
Won a fast ground 7f handicap at Newbury in July for William Muir and now makes debut for a yard that has hit form of late. Still 3lb higher than for that win, but a market check is strongly advised. Handles good to soft
Beaten ½L by Zlatan at Nottingham last time and is now 3lb worse off with that opponent. Scored over this trip at Newcastle in March from 5lb lower than today and is generally quite a consistent performer. Has won on good to firm, good and good to soft, so some versatility in that respect and has claims from a good draw.
4lb higher than when winning at Nottingham in October (1m½f, good to soft). Beaten over 5L by Billy Roberts at Pontefract in April and is now 3lb better off with that opponent. Drawn wide but if overcoming that he would be a likely player if there is any ease in the ground.
Has won maiden and a Southwell handicap at around this trip and seems to go best at that venue, as evidenced by his run over 6f two starts ago. Unlikely to mind the forecast rain and is on a competitive mark so not ruled out from a good draw, although still seeking first turf win.
Won a 7f Catterick maiden on good to soft 13 months ago but yet to record a handicap success. Was competitive back over that same C&D from a mark of 77 in April, so now 2lb lower he has to enter calculations and sees out 1m well enough.
6lb higher here than when scoring over 7f at Newcastle last year and has been runner-up over that trip on three subsequent occasions, including two on turf (one on good to soft) from a 3lb lower mark than today. Went well in defeat over that trip here last time but has it to prove over this trip and nudged back up in the weights.
Won a 7f Nottingham maiden (good) a couple of season ago but only raced four times since. Would have claims if able to reproduce his Thirsk run (1m, good to firm) from 1lb higher from 13 months ago though has a bit to prove after being beaten 33L on his reappearance.

Forecasts
Miss Van Gogh (5/2), Stanley (4/1), Fire Tree (4/1), Mon Beau Visage (9/2), Zlatan (5/1), Dutch Artist (11/2), Like No Other (7/1), Magic City (8/1), Dream Of Summer (10/1), Billy Roberts (12/1), Ski Blast (20/1), Red Touch (20/1), Shamaheart (20/1), Hitman (50/1)
This looks to be both open and competitive and FIRE TREE looks capable of making the step up to this class a successful one, especially if settling better than when scoring over C&D last time. Miss Van Gogh has to be taken seriously despite top weight, especially if the ground turns soft, while Dream Of Summer, Stanley, Magic City and Dutch Artist are among others with claims.
