Minor improvement in three starts at Windsor last year (all over 6f). Gelded since last start and step up in trip looks positive. Initial handicap mark looks fair enough and with yard's runners going well he could do a fair bit better this time.
Won over this trip at Leicester (good) in October from a mark of 57. Gelded prior to his three runs so far this season and put up his best effort at Wolverhampton last time when a 1½L third from today's mark. Decent draw here and has claims.
Yet to beat anything home in two starts this season and has so far looked to be in the grip of the handicapper since switching to this sphere. Blinkers now added and this is a weaker race than when he was tried over 1m2f at Bath last time, so could see a better showing and he will need one to win.
Showed some promise on her second start at Pontefract in particular, though disappointed when more was anticipated last time out at Ayr (6f, good to firm). Marks looks to be no better than fair for this handicap debut with hood now applied and a market check is suggested.
Has yet to deliver on the promise of his first turf run of this season at Beverley and looked to lack the pace that his pedigree suggested he would have when a beaten favourite at Ripon last time (6f, good). Related to some success over this sort of trip too, so with a try at it, but does have a bit to prove.
Nothing wrong with his attitude judged on how he battled on when headed at Southwell (7f, AW) last time and he might need some of that grit from a wide draw this time. Step up to 1m looks worth a try and market might underestimate him, so could go well as a price.
A maiden after nine starts and form tailed off last year, so her return run at Kempton (1m, AW) was not without promise. Begins today from 1lb lower and if she can repeat or improve on that effort then should would be short-list material for this.
Has now dropped 7lb for a pair of 10L defeats over 7½f and 1m2f since going handicapping. Plenty of sprint success in the pedigree, so this return to shorter looks to be a positive and couldn't rule out a significantly better effort from this mark.
Now 16lb lower than when first going handicapping in February and being beaten under 4L at Newcastle (1m, AW) on that occasion. Hood didn't work last time (beaten 18L over 1m6f), but the drop to this trip looks positive and cheek pieces now tried.
Inconsistent performer so far, but there was enough in his return run at Beverley to suggest that he can get very competitive here from a good draw and a 3lb lower mark.

Forecasts
Snookered (5/2), Treagus (5/1), England Expects (6/1), Pindaric (13/2), Brother McGonagall (9/1), Ocean Temptress (9/1), He's A Toff (12/1), Dreamofdiscovery (14/1), Casaclare (16/1), Naupaka (16/1), Pennington (25/1)
Very moderate fayre here and OCEAN TEMPTRESS could be the one for today. Her Kempton performance last time would certainly see her involved here if able to repeat it and given that it came after a break, she could improve. Snookered looks likely to be a serious threat, while He's A Toff also has frame claims.
- Ocean Temptress
- Snookered
