Verdict

AMALFI DOUG returns from a break here having finished well beaten at Kempton last time. The selection is better judged on his second at Stratford in October last year and a repeat of that effort can see him get the better of Coroberee who finished fourth last time out while Gannicus is another to note on his return to hurdling.
