Made a promising debut over the minimum trip at Goodwood recently in a race won by the Paul Cole-trained May Remain. Staying on at the one pace in the latter stages. Scope to improve here, he is one for any shortlist.
This son of Clodovil is a May colt and holds an entry in the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury next month. Any significant market support should be noted.
A son of Acclamation and his stable is in fine fettle at the moment. Holds a whole host of decent entries later in the year and is sure to attract plenty of support first time up.
Ran a most promising race on her debut at Leicester over the minimum trip last month but was no match for Mark Johnston's Rebel Assault at Catterick last time. Good form on show and will be popular with the punters tonight.
Shaped well on her debut at Beverley which is a tough track for juveniles and she was sent off favourite for a 5f race at Catterick last time on the strength of that run but was well beaten. Open to improvement this evening.
Ran green on her debut over 5f at Leicester last month and was well beaten. Friendless in the market for a race at Newmarket last time, she will need to step things up here if she is to open her account.
An April filly and a daughter of Equiano, she holds an entry for the Weatherbys Super Sprint Series at Newbury next month and she is one to note here on debut.
Ran a highly promising race on her debut at Chelmsford City over 5f last month in a race won by Blessed to Empress and set a decent pace over 6f at Brighton last time before fading close home. Could prove hard to beat here.
Forecasts
Magic Applause (5/2), Royal Liberty (11/4), Princess Lyla (5/1), Alaskan Star (5/1), Red For Danger (8/1), Royal Crown (10/1), Connery (12/1), Terri Rules (25/1)
PRINCESS LYLA will be winning races sooner rather than later and gets the nod here. After a promising debut run over the minimum trip, she made a lot of the running in a 6f race at Brighton last time and if getting away in front tonight, she could be hard to catch. Magic Applause has some solid form in the book and is sure to be there or thereabouts while the pick of the newcomers could be the Mark Johnston-trained Royal Liberty.
- Princess Lyla
- Royal Liberty
