Beverley runner-up finish over this trip (good) in August was the highlight of three runs last year. Returns for new yard now with a bit of improvement to uncover.
Underwhelming stuff on handicap debut at Nottingham recently (6f, soft) and while the drop in trip will likely suit, has plenty work on to get involved.
Beaten 6½L over C&D last month, similar tale in all three starts in maidens so far and has something to find if wanting to land a blow.
Bought for 32,000 gns as a half-brother to Stepper Point who has been a prolific winner for this stable, last of nine on Windsor debut over this trip five days ago.
Ex-John Gosden runner posted decent runner-up effort on AW at Newcastle 11 days ago on second start for this yard. All runs to date have been on artificial surfaces, but form makes him a likely contender here.
Oasis Dream filly wasn't give a tough time of it on debut over 6f at Lingfield and should improve though this drop back to the minimum trip isn't certain to assist. Market may guide expectations.

Forecasts
Fortitude (5/4), Double Spin (11/4), Bella Alissa (4/1), Angel Palanas (5/1), Jabbarockie (8/1), Harwood (10/1), Texas Wedge (25/1), Yorkshire Rover (25/1)
Fortitude made just a pleasing start at Lingfield and should be capable of better but this trip is something of a worry for now. Bella Alissa would be a significant player on her debut at Goodwood but she was well below that on recent reappearance and in any case, her stablemate DOUBLE SPIN has plenty going for him. He ran a solid race last time at Newcastle on the AW over this trip to be second and, provided this surface isn't an inconvenience, he looks up to discarding the maiden tag now. The remainder have questions over them, with Jabbarockie best placed for a challenge on last season's Beverley run.
