Running to a consistent level for his new yard over both hurdles and on the Flat and looks like he's on a feasible mark returned to this sphere having won on the Flat in France. Should go well.

Only wins came back-to-back in 2015, the first of which came here over a little shorter than this trip. Disappointing since though and yet to get his head in front for this yard despite some close efforts. Handicapper refusing to relent though and others look better handicapped.

Has proved a revelation since dropping back in trip and every chance he could carry on progressing returned to turf. Trainer and jockey have a fine strike-rate of 15.24% when teaming up together so no surprise to see him run well.

Winner at Baden-Baden in August 2015 and recorded his first win since at Brighton last time. May find life tougher off a 5lb higher mark now though in a deeper race.

Never won over quite this far and finished last at York last month in a 16-runner contest. Well-being taken on trust after that poor effort but proven in a range of conditions and not poorly handicapped.

Stays well but is yet to get off the mark under either code. Disappointing last time out, but interesting to note he is now back with his former trainer. Improvement still required.

Beat Portage on juvenile debut for Aidan O'Brien but has failed to progress since and losing run now stretched to 14. Third of four at Bath last time and likely to struggle in a deeper race here from a wide draw.

Won twice in France for previous stable and not beaten far at Wolverhampton earlier in the year. Struggled last time at Lingfield though and needs more relief from the handicapper.

Scored at Wolverhampton earlier in the year and the type to keep progressing with this yard. Two-runner up efforts since that win have been respectable and likely to be even better returned to turf. Leading player.

In search of a belated hat-trick here on his first start for a new yard. Considering he has only had three starts in more than three years, he's probably best watched this time around.

4lb above his last winning mark and well beaten on his latest Flat starts. Struggling in recent hurdles efforts too but race-fit at least and should bounce back at some stage, though likely to need a little more relief from the handicapper.
