Finished ½L runner-up on debut over 5f at Doncaster (good-to-firm) in April but weakened inside the final furlong when odds-on at Chester (good) subsequently. Return to quicker ground forecast here should see him hard to beat.

Finished fourth on both of his starts to date including at Chepstow (good-to-soft) over 5f last time. Has plenty to find on that effort and others look more likely today.

Missed the break when finishing one place behind Dahik on debut over 5f at Chester (good) last month. Had a poor draw to overcome on that occasion and likely to fare better with that experience under his belt.

Had a couple of those ahead of him when finishing last of seven over 5f at Chester (good) on debut last month. Others make more appeal today.

Forecasts

Dahik (1/1), Fab (9/4), Ursus Belle (9/1), Data Protection (10/1), Haveoneyerself (12/1), Spix's Macaw (12/1), Go Bananas (14/1), Rusty Blade (33/1)

Verdict

Richard Hannon has done well with his two-year-old's here so far this season and his speedily-bred filly URSUS BELLE can improve on his record here by taking this two-year-old maiden contest. Dahik disappointed at Chester last time out but looks capable of bouncing back here and he can claim second while Fab and Haveoneyerself are others worth noting in this.
  1. Ursus Belle
  2. Dahik
  3. Fab
