Obvious claims on her juvenile form but blinkers are fitted and yard are 0-50 with their runners on the Flat this year. Trainer does well on his raids here and the market is often a good indicator as to prospects.

Runner-up at Redcar and winner has gone on and shaped well in Listed company at York. Trainer a rare visitor here with a 1-2 record and had a winner on Friday.

Ran in a hot race on debut with the winner placed at Group Three level and the third winning subsequently. Appeared not to truly stay 7f and is dropped in distance here.

Went off at long odds for debut and never figured after a slow start. This is a good standard of maiden for the track and she has her work cut out in order to figure.

Forecasts

Made Of Honour (5/4), Excellent Sunset (6/4), Connacht Girl (7/2), Foxtrix (8/1), Bloomin Lovely (8/1), Fintry Flyer (25/1), Oriental Lilly (28/1)

Verdict

Excellent Sunset is a rare runner here for David Lanigan. The filly is being brought along in typically patient fashion and she would not be travelling here if the drop in distance was not expected to suit. MADE OF HONOUR has probably achieved more and shown more natural speed than her main rival. The form of her two starts has been working out well and she is taken to open her account. Connacht Girl would be a threat on last year's form if blinkers revive her fortunes.
