Easy winner of a three runner novice hurdle at Exeter at odds of 20/1 lastr time out. Market rivals clearly under-performed that day and form worth taking with a pinch of salt. Interesting to see whether the step up in trip brings out any improvement.
Very consistent sort and still improving. Trip appeared to stretch her a little last time when finishing runner-up after going off favourite but every chance she will gain compensation returned to shorter and she sets the standard on form.
Exciting prospect who overturned a short-priced favourite at Worcester on hurdles debut last time out having struggled in Listed class on her final bumper start. Clearly well thought of and should go well again but her win last time came on very quick ground so may want the rain to stay away.
Won a couple of point-to-points last year but been very disappointing in that sphere of late and sold for £5,000 just last week. This likely to be a fact finding mission for new yard.
Point-to-point winner who has been running to a consistent level in four starts under rules. Proabably a career best at Aintree last time out and should be up to mixing it at this level once again.
Forecasts
Whatzdjazz (6/5), Katy P (6/4), Strangsmill (7/1), Foxy Act (16/1), Lady Jameson (50/1), Mole Trap (66/1), Njorls Saga (150/1)
KATY P is improving with every start, and the drop back in trip should see her get back on the scoreboard here. Whatzdjazz would appear to have a bright future ahead of her while Strangsmill has proven she can mix it at this sort of level.
