Starting to edge back down the handicap and below his last winning mark and his recent Brighton run hinted at better to come. Often slowly away and needs a decent pace to aim at to be seen to best effect.
Has a little bit to prove now having reportedly broken a blood vessel when disappointing at Newcastle in November and showing very little at Musselburgh last time out when well supported.
Showed improved form when scoring on handicap debut at Yarmouth recently and the handicapper has raised her 8lb for that. Doesn't have too many mile on the clock though and may well be able to step forward again in a race where few have much improvement left in them.
Seemingly runs a lot better on the AW than he does on the turf and was pulled-up over hurdles last time. Given his record on turf he's passed over here.
Still a maiden after ten attempts she did look to show some better form last time on her debut for this yard after a break. May well be able to make a little more progress here in what looks to be a weak event.

Vernatti (11/8), Dora's Field (11/4), Mr Red Clubs (4/1), Vizier (5/1), Craftsmanship (11/2), Lord Franklin (14/1), Anton Chigurh (40/1)
A few of these would be better off on the AW and despite the rise in the weights VERNATTI is taken to follow-up her Yarmouth win. Dora’s Field despite remaining a maiden looks to be the main danger with Craftsmanship and Vizier not totally ruled out although both do have some question marks against them in terms of well-being and a pace to run at.
