Only victory came over 5f at Nottingham (good-to-firm) last July. Placed on the AW off a mark of 77 subsequently and finished seventh on debut for this stable at Doncaster last month. Wears cheekpieces for the first time today.
Ran well on his first two starts when finishing runner-up over 5f at Newcastle this spring. Most recent of those came when beaten a neck last month but disappointed on turf debut at Ayr (good-to-firm) over 6f last time out. Returns to 5f for his handicap debut today.
Registered her second career success when defeating seven rivals over 5f at Thirsk (good-to-firm) two weeks ago. Races off a 6lb higher mark today and looks likely to run well once more.
Off the mark when making his debut over 5f at Wolverhampton in August last year. Unraced since and making his turf and handicap debut for a yard with a 25% strike-rate in recent weeks (4/16).
Winner over 6f at Hamilton (good-to-firm) on his second start 12 months ago and placed off a 2lb higher mark than he races off her subsequently. Finished unplaced in two starts since being gelded last autumn including in a Class 3 last time and drops in grade today.
Victorious at Musselburgh (good-to-firm) over 5f last time. Two solid efforts in handicap company prior to that including when 2L fourth to a rival in good form at Bath (firm) and remains interesting despite a 6lb rise for that Musselburgh success.
Signs of ability in four outings in Ireland last season. Gelded since and made a winning debut for this yard when successful at Newcastle over 5f in March. Beaten just a head off a 5lb higher mark over 5f at Nottingham (good-to-firm) subsequently and likely to run well following a further 1lb rise.
Victorious over 5f in a maiden event at Musselburgh (good) in June last year but well beaten on final start of 2016. Having his first start since being gelded when beaten 4L into fourth on seasonal debut over 5f at Catterick (good) last month and worth a check in the market here.
Finished runner-up on each of his first two starts last June but well held three times thereafter including twice in handicap company. Wears a hood for the first time here and worth a check in the market on his seasonal debut.
Finished runner-up on three of her five starts to date. Twice beaten 1¼L over 5f on good-to-firm ground this year including at Musselburgh earlier this month and likely to run well once more off a 2lb higher mark in this contest.
Nottingham maiden winner on soft ground last July but disappointed since finishing 1¼L third on the AW at Wolverhampton next time out. Well beaten on debut for this yard last month and races off a mark 6lb lower than for that Wolverhampton third today.
Forecasts
Boundsy (9/2), Suwaan (9/2), Storm Over (11/2), Yorkshiredebut (11/2), Flawlessly (8/1), Lady Cristal (8/1), Poet's Reward (12/1), Ventura Secret (16/1), Princeofthequeen (22/1), Kamra (25/1), Mightaswellsmile (33/1)
STORM OVER broke his maiden on debut over 5f at Wolverhampton last month and while it's a concern that he hasn't been seen since he had to be switched for a run at crucial stage and makes his handicap debut in contest. One of those likely to be racing close to the pace is Lady Cristal, a winner at Musselburgh last time having attempted to make all on her two previous starts. Boundsy ran well enough on his seasonal debut to suggest that he can be competitive in this contest having finished mid-division in a better race at York earlier this month.
- Storm Over
- Lady Cristal
- Boundsy
