Well held by Sir Jack in a handicap last time out; worse off at the weights today, and hard to see the form being reversed on these terms.
Still a maiden but has run some good races in defeat during his 24-race career up to press. Seemed to enjoy the switch to Lingfield's turf course last time out and holds sound claims in a weak event such as this. Positive jockey booking an added bonus.
Knocking on the door in modest handicaps and worth a shot dropped into selling grade. Trip and ground not an issue and definite claims at the weights. Leading contender in this company.
One of the best in at the weights and at least knows what it takes to win a race. This is a lot easier than many of his recent assignments, so can have few excuses on ground conditions that should be fine for him.
Won this race last year and acts well over this C&D, so has to be respected for those facts alone. Looks a pretty straightforward ride for a 7lb claimer, so also has solid claims at the weights. Races with a tongue-tie for the first time, which may additionally help her mount a more sustained challenge - the case is strong for her bid at registering back-to-back wins.
Form in Ireland was poor and offers little to set the pulse racing on her debut for a new yard.
Solid chance on these terms - claims further enhanced at the weights by her rider's claim. Quite whether her stamina will hold out on this stiff climb to the line is debatable, though. Her poor form on turf is also a cause for concern.

Forecasts
Sir Jack (13/8), Powered (5/2), Log Off (11/2), Woofie (6/1), Scent Of Power (10/1), Cockney Boy (16/1), Sehail (20/1), Mizpah (100/1)
Quite competitive for a seller, as a few of these have fair claims at the weights. Not least SCENT OF POWER, who won this in good style last year and looks to have everything in place for bold attempt at retaining her title. Woofie and Sir Jack have similar claims and will be tough customers to deal with if they run up to expectations, while Log Off is also feared on these terms buts her record on turf is poor and her stamina will also be tested to the limit by the nature of the C&D. Support in the betting for Powered would also cloud the picture.
- Scent Of Power
- Woofie
- Sir Jack
