Taking a massive drop in class and may well reap the benfit. Struggled in two Grade 1's this spring but went very close when narrowly beaten in Grade 2 event at Fairyhouse last month. Reproduction of that form would probably be more than good enough.
Showed good attitude when staying on well under pressure to land soft ground Fairyhouse maiden hurdle last time out. Needs plenty more here but clearly in good heart at present.
11f Flat maiden scorer for Andrew Balding . Battled back to score narrow success over hurdles at third time of asking at Clonmel 11 days ago and now equipped with first-time blinkers. Represents top yard and cannot be lightly dismissed.
Failed to score in 9 starts for Aidan O'Brien, but has won on Flat and in maiden hurdle for current yard. Fair ninth in 'Fred Winter' at Cheltenham Festival in March and went close last time in Clonmel handicap hurdle. Shouldn't be too far away.
Last of 12, beaten a long way in Naas bumper on only start to date. Yard in terrific form for some time and has to be respected, but need to improve out of all recognition.
Poor Flat maiden. Did much better on only start so far over hurdles when 4th in Clonmel maiden hurdle 11 days ago and may win races in due course, but this looks a very tough task.
Forecasts
Dandy Mag (2/5), Zig Zag (9/2), Vanishing Point (6/1), From Eden (16/1), Turasoir (16/1), Endless Pleasure (25/1), Muroor (66/1), Aldo Raine (66/1)
DANDY MAG should take all the beating having gone close at a much higher level and he is expected to benefit from this big drop in class. The main danger may come from Vanishing Point and From Eden, both of whom look as if they'll succeed in this sphere and come into the race in decent form. A similar comment applies to Zig Zag, who should be in there pitching for most of the way.
