Excellent debut when finishing fourth of 18 at Leopardstown and took a 25-runner maiden here on only subsequent start. Form of that contest rather well advertised since but this is race is a different kettle of fish. A little disconcerting she hasn't had a prep run but everything else would appear to be in her favour and will enjoy the rain that has arrived.

One win from six starts and that came on the AW at Dundalk. Not disgraced in a Group 3 at Leopardstown two starts back but struggled in a Group 1 in France on soft ground. Sire's progeny usually go well with cut in the ground so maybe she wasn't 100% that day but has a bit to find on form regardless.

Beat Asking in a Group 3 at Leopardstown last time out but ground will be different here and that level of form looks a little below what's required to mix it here.

Group 3 winner ahead of Winter at Leopardstown last time but couldn't cope with that rival in Qipco 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket last time. She's a tough customer who goes well on the front end but will likely struggle yet again with regards to win purposes. Won't mind soft ground at least and wears first-time cheekpieces.

Excellent winner of the Moyglare (Group 1) last year before a slightly disappointing effort in the Breeders Cup. Not returned in the same kind of form this season and she struggled in the Qipco 1,000 Guineas last time out. She's better than that but does have a little to prove.

Won a weak looking Group 3 at Naas last time and perhaps improved for the switch to faster ground. Today's conditions would have to be a concern on that basis and she has a bit to find on form.

Followed up a Group 3 win at this course with a Group 2 win at the July Festival at Newmarket last year. Not won since but some fair efforts in defeat. Wouldn't have wanted any rain to arrive being a son of War Front and her best efforts coming on faster ground but first-time cheekpieces could bring out a little improvement.

Came from left-field in the English equivalent of this race having only won a maiden at Dundalk, running out an easy winner and beating a better fancied stablemate. Settled better that day and clearly improved from her runner-up effort behind Hydrangea the time before. That is the best form on offer by some way and she is clearly the stable's first-string. Just a slight question mark over whether she wants cut in the ground.

Result Amended

Bean Feasa - Original Position 6th. Amended Position 5th.
Rehana - Original Position 5th. Amended Position 6th.

Forecasts

Winter (8/13), Rehana (6/1), Hydrangea (7/1), Aneen (10/1), Roly Poly (14/1), Intricately (14/1), Bean Feasa (20/1), Asking (50/1)

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien is bidding to become the first trainer to win all four Guineas either side of the Irish Sea in one season and WINTER gives him an excellent chance of doing so having taken the English equivalent earlier in the month. Roly Poly had some nice two-year-old form but conditions may have gone against her a little. The unknown quantity in the contest is Aneen who won her maiden here last time out and she should go on to bigger and better things this season.
