Off the mark at the second attempt over an extended 1m2f at Dundalk just over a year ago but not won since and he was a beaten favourite last time out. Looks vulnerable for win purposes but should go well enough again.
Back-to-back Dundalk winner earlier in the year and very consistent on an artificial surface but different story all together on turf where she has won just one from 13. Set to struggle from a career-high mark.
Winner at Newmarket in soft ground in 2015 but has only beaten two rivals home in a total of five starts since. Not seen since June last year and very much likely to be in need of the run on first start for new yard with a tongue-tie fitted.
Excellent second at odds of 66/1 on comeback run at Limerick last month and duly delivered on that promise with an easy enough looking win at Killarney last time. Handicapper has given her a real chance off this yard and she's one of the yard's few winners this season so she should go well.
Off the mark at the 14th attempt at Lingfield last time and has run some solid race on the AW in England but likely to struggle in deeper waters over here.
Most recent success came here over a mile last month but not been in quite the same form since. She's a very in and out sort and much more likely to be out on the expected fast ground.
One win from nine starts and that came in a claimer at Gowran. First start for new yard showed she hadn't improved for the switch and she now needs the first-time visor to bring about improvement.
Some promise on her second start and even better when fourth of 18 last time over 7f. Likely to have more to offer over this trip and this could prove to be a lenient mark.
Unplaced on all five starts and looks in desperate need of more relief from the handicapper if she's going to break her maiden tag. Step back up in trip may help but hard to fancy.
Lost her maiden tag in a sales race here last summer and excellent second behind a smart looking rival last time at Navan. That rival (Wingingit) runs earlier in the card and that could be a good pointer to her chance. Wears first-time cheekpieces.
Forecasts
Pandagreen (9/4), The Tulip (10/3), Golden Dandy (7/1), Mainicin (8/1), Prove The Point (9/1), Pearl Of The West (10/1), Demi Plie (12/1), Vitalized (14/1), Polymnia (16/1), Novancia (25/1)
GOLDEN DANDY looks like she has been given a lenient handicap mark and may be able to score back-to-back wins. Pandagreen got back on track with a good second last time out behind a smart looking rival while The Tulip is a consistent sort who should be capable of running a place.
- Golden Dandy
- Pandagreen
- The Tulip
