Very smart horse on his day but he is becoming a little frustrating to follow. Beaten odds on favourite on three of his last four outings and clearly not the most straight-forward customer but should be able to get back on track in this line-up, dropped even further in class.

Finished third of seven behind Torcedor and the re-opposing Order Of St George in a Navan Group 3 and unlikely to get a better chance of beating the latter. Also a slight question mark over the quicker ground her but he's not dismissed.

Fair efforts in Meydan for Satish Seemar and scored on his return to this yard at Musselburgh. Ground probably too soft for him last time at Chester and he should give a better account here with the yard in fair form.

Less exposed than the rest of this field but failed to justify favouritism in a minor event at Tipperary last time and this is a lot tougher.

Stars Over The Sea20
Age: 6|  Weight: 9-5| J: Wayne Lordan| T: H De Bromhead| OR:  100
33/1
Four-times Flat winner for Mark Johnston but has always looked a little short of what's required at this level and he has failed to get off the mark in two hurdles starts for this yard. His future is likely to lie over obstacles and looks up against it here.

Forecasts

Order Of St George (4/11), Twilight Payment (4/1), Motherland (8/1), Carbon Dating (16/1), Stars Over The Sea (33/1)

Verdict

There's no doubt ORDER OF ST GEORGE has been disappointing in recent starts but he has an obvious class edge over this field and a penalty is unlikely to be enough to stop him scoring. Twilight Payment wasn't disgraced in a Group 3 when finishing behind the selection last time and should go well but it's Carbon Dating who is the most likely danger to Aidan O'Briens horse and he will enjoy conditions a lot more than he did at Chester last time.
  1. Order Of St George
  2. Carbon Dating
  3. Twilight Payment
