Proving difficult to win with but takes a drop in class now. Has been placed in all four runs in this grade since her debut and shapes as though in need of this longer trip.

Winner over 1m2f last season and was keen in her subsequent races. Drops in distance for her seasonal bow as a result. Stable's horses having been looking in need of a run.

On a losing streak stretching back more than two years and 34 races. Drops in class and last victory was gained in similar company. Yet to win on turf (races off 7lb lower mark than AW) but has some solid placed efforts to her name. Interesting that one of her regular riders partners In Ken's Memory.

Her latest turf win was almost two years ago from 4lb higher, so she is interesting on that basis and she has managed two AW wins in the interim. Comfortably beaten at Nottingham after a break but probably needs to be ridden more positively nowadays and last win came in this grade.

Made all under today's rider to score on debut for yard when heavily supported. Up in grade and shoulders a 7lb penalty but remains the one to beat as clearly progressing and yard in form.

Forecasts

In Ken's Memory (5/4), Blind Faith (2/1), Bint Dandy (15/2), Rebel Surge (15/2), Stosur (11/1)

Verdict

A case can be made for all of these but Rebel Surge and Bint Dandy are hard to win with nowadays. Blind Faith steps down in distance having been too keen on her last few starts. She has questions to answer with her yard struggling for winners at present. Stosur is interesting given the positive rider booking but she seems better when able to dictate the pace these days and IN KEN'S MEMORY may deny her that role. Mick Appleby's filly made all on her debut for the yard when scoring at Brighton when winning with plenty in hand. A 7lb penalty may not be enough to halt her progress.
  1. In Ken's Memory
  2. Stosur
  3. Blind Faith
