Registered his third win on turf when successful over an extended 5f at Brighton (good) last week. Had disappointed in three previous starts this season and this looks a more competitive affair.
Sole win in ten starts came on the AW at Kempton when wearing a hood for the first time in November. Ran well off a 1lb lower mark when second at Wolverhampton in January and returning from a break today.
Successful over 5f at Southwell in January when wearing cheekpieces and tongue tie combination for the first time. Well beaten twice over the same C&D the following month and represents a yard in good form at present (3/11).
Winner off an 8lb higher mark on the AW at Chelmsford over 5f in February. Finished third there three starts later but couldn't take advantage of lower turf mark when beaten over 3L at Bath last time. Dropped 4lb by the handicapper for this.
Made the frame twice on the AW from six starts in 2017 but well held when last of nine at Chepstow (good-to-firm) on his return to turf and more needed here.
Victorious twice from three outings on turf. Most recent of those came on soft ground at Nottingham over 5f in November 2015. Races off an 11lb higher mark here on his first run since March 2016.
Registered his first victory when winning by 3L at Wolverhampton over 5f in September. Ran well twice subsequently last season and a satisfactory return when beaten 3ÂľL into fifth over the same C&D last month. Yard have a 29% strike-rate of late (4/14).
Chepstow (good-to-firm) 5f win last August was his third victory of 2016 and he ran well off a 4lb higher mark when finishing fifth in similar conditions over the same C&D on his return earlier this month. Worth a check in the market today.
Winner four times for previous stable but started a big price in two runs for current yard this year. Handicap mark is slipping as a result and now rated 1lb lower than when last successful on turf back in July.
Frequent runner at Lingfield in recent months and finished runner-up over 5f there on his penultimate start last month. Last success came off a 3lb higher mark over 5f at Newbury (soft) 11 months ago.
Out of form in four races since finishing runner-up over 5f at Wolverhampton in February. Raced from out of the weights when last of 12 at Nottingham (good) last time and similarly out of the handicap today.

Zipedeedodah (11/4), Kiringa (5/1), Taajub (6/1), Archimedes (7/1), Powerful Wind (8/1), Fly True (8/1), Quantum Dot (8/1), Pharoh Jake (12/1), Crosse Fire (12/1), Prominna (25/1), Classic Flyer (33/1), Give Us A Belle (66/1)
CROSSE FIRE can take advantage of his lower turf mark and good high draw here by registering a first success on this surface today. The selection was well beaten last time out at Southwell but racing prominently as he has done in the past can pay dividends in this. Prominna has a good record on turf having won two of his three starts and can claim second ahead of last weeks Brighton winner Taajub who carries a penalty for that success today.
