Rounded off last season in good form and is respected as he is eased in grade. But efforts on the AW have been few and far between, so has something to prove from 4lb higher than his last winning mark.

Showed he retains ability when sixth of thirteen on his debut for his current yard at Ripon last month. Switches to the AW for the first time, but respected as one that may improve. The betting should be informative.

Looked potentially useful when winning twice for his previous yard in Ireland but didn't quite hit the same level over C&D on his debut for his new yard last month. Entitled to have needed a blow-out but needs to have come on a bundle for the run.

Set to race from 4lb higher than his last winning mark and was poor on his recent return; may be best watched until showing signs of a revival.

Likes this course and won his penultimate start in game style. However, that was over 6f and, as he's never really convinced that a mile is his best trip, he has a lot more on his plate from his revised mark. Possible he didn't handle the track at Epsom last time, so can at least be forgiven that below par effort.

Stable in good form and drops back to a more appropriate trip after fading over 10f last time out. The switch back to an AW surface is also in his favour and not too harshly treated from just 1lb higher than his last winning mark. One to consider.

Form talked off last season and was gelded during the winter. First start back confirmed he still has the enthusiasm to race and can go close if the outing doesn't come around too quickly for him.

Versatile regarding his best trip and copes with the Polytrack surface. Stable also going well so plenty of reasons to expect a solid run. Still 6lb higher than his last winning mark but holding his own of late, so holds place claims at least.

Thrived since returning to racing over a mile and has struck up a good relationship to win twice under Ryan Moore. Sure to be popular for the hat-trick bid, but the fact he is just 1lb higher than his latest success says a lot about the quality of that race. More required here and no easy task from a wide draw.

Done plenty of travelling during his time but was disappointing in both previous starts for his current yard. Unexposed on the AW and has a lot to prove.

Won on soft ground on his final start for Ed Walker last season and has the benefit of a couple of outings for his yard under his belt. Has been cut a little slack by the assessor so not without claims if he can adapt to this surface. Well drawn so has no excuses on that score.

Bred to appreciate a tad further but didn't really impress on his solitary start over 10f during his time with Sir Michael Stoute; but fared better in a lads race at Ascot when making his debut for his new yard last time out. This looks tougher but he still has a bit of scope for improvement. One to monitor in the betting for sure.

Forecasts

Commodity (7/2), North Creek (5/1), Cape Banjo (6/1), Dubai's Secret (7/1), Cat Silver (7/1), Golden Wedding (15/2), Glorious Poet (8/1), Multitask (8/1), Winklemann (16/1), Golden Raven (16/1), Wind In My Sails (20/1), Dutiful Son (25/1), Harlequin Striker (33/1)

Verdict

A tough one to call but GOLDEN WEDDING has a consistent profile and appeals as a sporting choice to land a pretty open handicap. The selection arrives here in good form and, unlike a few of the others, knows his way around this course well. He faces no easy task from 6lb higher than his last winning mark, so it could also pay to cover a few corners. The hat-trick chasing Commodity is an obvious choice with Ryan Moore again in the saddle, while Cape Banjo is back over a more appropriate trip and shouldn't be underestimated.
