Sent off a big price when finishing runner-up over 7f at Leicester (good-to-soft) in September last year. Absent since he is likely to play a leading role in this if repeating that performance today.
Beaten over 9L when finishing third of five over 1m at Chelmsford on debut in March. Yard have a 25% strike-rate in recent weeks (8/32) and worth a check in the market here.
Never in the race and beaten 15L when making his debut over 7f at Kempton last month. Probably best watched on his second outing in this.

Unraced daughter of Dutch Art. Dam well beaten in her only outing on the track though is a half-sister to useful performers The Right Man, Steve Rogers, Three Moons and Black Velvet. Market likely to prove the best guide.

Finished last of nine over 7f at Catterick (good-to-firm) on debut last month. More needed if she's to break her maiden in this.

Forecasts

Sporting Times (13/8), Maratha (9/4), Stararchitecture (9/2), Envoy (9/1), Harbour Force (14/1), Long Socks (25/1), Starboard Watch (33/1), Dutch Melody (33/1), Bombero (50/1), Three's A Crowd (100/1)

Verdict

MARATHA ran well to finish runner-up on his racecourse debut over this distance at Southwell earlier this month and he can get off the mark at the second time of asking here. Sporting Times is another to run well on on his debut and he can claim second on his seasonal debut here here having finished runner-up on good-to-soft ground at Leicester last September while Stararchitecture who finished a well held third at Chelmsford on his debut represents a yard in good form at present and can claim third once more.
  1. Maratha
  2. Sporting Times
  3. Stararchitecture
