Requinto gelding, dam was a winner up to 1m, trainer has his string in really good order currently and so a market check is advised.

Just the one run last year, finishing fourth of 14 in a 7f maiden (heavy) at Cork having gone off 20/1. Blinkers on first time now, representing top team, likely to offer more.

Henrythenavigator gelding hasn't offer a lot in two runs so far, latest coming at Cork last month when well beaten in 1m½f good to soft maiden. More needed.

Didn't show much in last month's debut at Leopardstown (1m, good to soft) and has considerable work to do over this shorter trip.

Equiano colt is a half-brother to several winners, including useful 5f/6f winner Avon Breeze. Plenty speed in his pedigree, trainer yet to saddle a winner.
Approve gelding is related to several winners up to and including 1m, wears cheekpieces for this debut run and may come on for it representing this small yard.

Sent off 66/1 on recent debut at Killarney (1m, soft) and beat just one of seven rivals home. Best watched once more in this.

Teofilo gelding is gradually getting the hang of things in this sphere, ran best race to date over 7f on the AW at Dundalk last time.

Intikhab gelding for the Lyons team, he cost €41,000 as a foal and is nicely related to a few winners, sixth over the mile on AW last week on debut and is open to progress.

Filly finished ninth of 18 in maiden at Leopardstown (7f, good to soft) in the autumn, should be capable of better in time though has to have wintered very well for a winning reappearance.

6,500 gns yearling, Rip Van Winkle filly is nicely bred for this challenge and related to multiple winners. Yard have been quiet and don't have a great strike rate at the best of times.

Teofilo filly represents trainer going well but drop back in trip from 1m isn't certain to suit, she has shaped as though looking for further in two runs so far. Either way, she has to improve to figure.

The Carbon Unit filly, a sister to winner up to 7f Split The Atom. Stable's horses are in good form of late and she's worth paying attention to in the betting as such.

Form of last year's maiden run at Roscommon (7f, good) isn't standout, has been off for nine month but does represent a powerful team so would be churlish to write her off.

Followed home the smart-looking Irishcorrespondent last time over 1m at Leopardstown on her second start. No surprise if she leads them home this time.

Well beaten over 6f on debut at the Curragh in August (good to firm), and similar tale over 5f at Dundalk on reappearance. Upped significantly in trip this time, with something to prove.

Forecasts

Music Box (4/6), Coviglia (7/2), Spiritual Law (10/1), Bigwood (14/1), Empress Lyla (14/1), Glenmoore (20/1), Dime A Dance (20/1), Muinineach (20/1), Discovery Lad (25/1), Lamh Ar Lamh (25/1), Reimagine (33/1), Molecule (33/1), Rosa Klebb (33/1), Hey Hey Alejandro (33/1), Favorite Story (50/1), Dream Sleep (50/1), Jamington (50/1), I've Got Rhythm (50/1)

Verdict

MUSIC BOX looks to have very strong claims in this line-up. She chased home Irishcorrespondent on her second start and that rival has gone in again since in real style. The Ballydoyle filly should be good enough to open her account in this. Spiritual Law may well leave his debut form behind for the in-form Lyons team while Coviglia and Reimagine also have solid place claims on their prior efforts. Bigwood and Molecule could be interesting newcomers while Empress Lyla would be a major player if coming off the reserve list.
  1. Music Box
  2. Spiritual Law
  3. Reimagine
