Moderate promise in couple of 6f maidens last year at the Curragh and here, both run with plenty juice in the ground. Out of this yard, could easily be type for better this year. One of two for trainer.

Casamento filly is a half-sister to smart winner up to 1m Hillbilly Boy, second of two for trainer in this and looks second choice on riding arrangements for this debut run.

First run for this trainer came in 7f Limerick handicap on good to firm three weeks ago, running credibly in third in what was an improved effort. Back in a maiden, looks a big threat.

Ran an excellent third of 20 on debut over 6f here in March on soft to yielding ground, didn't exactly build on it next time at Tipperary when beaten favourite over a furlong longer but could have more progress to offer.

Respectable third of nine over this trip on the AW at Dundalk on comeback run, that entitles her to fair claims in here and has run well on turf before. Yard in good form.

Myboycharlie filly cost €25,000 as a yearling and is related to 2yo 5f-6f winner Saxford. Not facing an easy task on debut here but will be worth a look in the betting.

War Front filly showed promise on debut at Dundalk over 7f in September and may be best to orgive subsequent Curragh run over same trip. Representing these connections, she may remain capable of much better as a 3yo.

Showed plenty promise on debut this month over C&D when 3¼L third of 17 on good to firm ground, every chance of building on that effort now.

Second of 19 in 1m Leopardstown maiden (soft) on sole 2yo outing, having gone off 50/1 sporting a hood (retained here). Type to do better this term and should be winning before long.

Verdict

XENOBIA looks the one to be with having run a fine race on her sole 2yo start over the mile at Leopardstown to be second behind an easy winner. The third came out and won a maiden at Dundalk first up this term and has since run credibly in Listed/Group 3 company, so this daughter of Falco has got to be respected now. Constant Comment, Realt Rua and Jett Streaming have shown enough to merit some thought too, whilst Fascinating Lady ran a very fine race in a Limerick handicap over this trip last time and shouldn't be overlooked back in a maiden. The well-bred Old Time Waltz may be able to leave here final 2yo behind for top connections.
  1. Xenobia
  2. Fascinating Lady
  3. Constant Comment
