Not the greatest strike rate but more than capable of good form in better grade than this back in the day, and drops into Class 5 for the first time in a long time. More rain the better and handicapper drops him another chunk after some moderate efforts. Needs to bounce back.
Simply hasn't shown enough over a variety of trips and ground to be worthy of attention here, although sometimes the yard do pop one up from leftfield without warning. More likely winners in the field.
Infrequent winner but did shape as if coming back to form at Warwick last week, finding the trip possibly a bit too far. Won't mind any rain and is on a winnable mark. Looks one of the more likely ones.
Lightly raced for one his age and has performed with credit at this track before, pulled up at Bangor on latest start but may have needed that after an absence. Rain not a problem and on a dangerous mark if bouncing back.
Has caught the eye travelling well on both of his last couple of starts and won a small race at Leicester last time out (second a winner since) although found less than expected off the bridle. Up in trip here, but chances if staying it.
Appeared to run out of her skin at Newcastle (from almost 2 stone out of the handicap) when second to Two Smokin Barrels, although flattered by proximity to the winner. Won't mind soft ground but yet to prove she stays this far, and may need this after short break.
Has looked regressive for some while and although second to Phangio at Chepstow last time, was well behind the easy winner, a mistake at the last sealing his fate. Needs to refind some old form to take a hand here.
Pops up every now and then but seems to save his best for good or good to firm ground, which he won't get here. On a winnable mark and stays well but with those ground concerns, is passed over today.
Point-to-point winner back in Jan 2016 and was a very useful hunter chaser a few seasons back, but it's all unravelled recently and has shown little appetite for winning. Others readily preferred.
Just the one win in 26 starts and pulled up on three of last four starts. Does throw in the odd good run and any rain a plus, but can't really be considered a likely winner here.

Forecasts
Trafalgar (10/3), Finnegan's Garden (11/2), Asuncion (11/2), Triptico (6/1), Hansupfordetroit (7/1), French Seventyfive (8/1), Corner Creek (9/1), Croco Mister (10/1), Don't Hang About (10/1), I Know The Code (16/1), Robin Will (20/1)
Plenty of these have a question of one sort or another, and TRIPTICO looks the most solid option. Finnegan's Garden needs holding onto for as long as possible over this trip but has chances if getting it. The likes of Robin Will, Hansupfordetroit and Don't Hang About could all bounce back without warning.
- Triptico
- Finnegan's Garden
- Hansupfordetroit
