Useful during his time with Michael Dodds and very possible that he will have been freshened up by switching yards recently. Still 2lb higher than his last winning mark but this lacks strength-in-depth so has to be considered for the shortlist now the ground has turned in his favour.
Suited by a good test and won't mind the give in the ground. Bit to prove after a poor effort on his seasonal debut but still relatively lightly raced, so may have more to offer. One to keep on the right side once he has proved his fitness whatever happens.
Always dangerous to underestimate runners from this yard but he does have plenty to prove after a couple of below par efforts and may be best left alone for win only purposes.
Hasn't won since the turf was still in place at Newcastle but a case can be laid out for him on the pick of his efforts. Yard does well at this course, so worth a check in the betting.
Never won beyond 5f but does stay this trip and should have no issues with the ground. Posted a below par effort on his reappearance last month though.
Has gone well at this course in the past and has claims on the pick of her form - won well at Catterick last month and actually holds a few of these on a literal reading of her form. Does need to prove she handles the ground though. The betting may be helpful as a guide.
Won on heavy ground at Hamilton last September so ought to handle the conditions. Disappointing when last seen out but may have gone over the top for the season, so feasible the winter break will have done her some good. An interesting contender from a top yard.
Little to set the pulse racing from his last two starts and already has a bit to find with Blue Jacket. Others look more solid options on this occasion.
Doesn't have a great record at this particular course but has the best of the draw and will handle the ground; also a positive that the trip isn't an issue. 2lb below his last winning mark so claims enhanced at the weights.
Sound claims if building on her latest effort in a better race at Doncaster. Had a valid excuse when she finished behind Blue Jacket at Catterick and will be a different proposition if she can stay out of trouble this time. Cheekpieces may help her focus.
Has won on soft ground but may be better suited over the minimum trip these days. Two runs this season have also left a lot to be desired.
Has at least made the frame in 50% of his races on turf, so gets points for consistency. Won well on the AW last time out but has a 5lb higher mark to contend with and this afternoon.'s event is a tougher assignment. Needs to be on the top of his game.

If the predicted rains arrive, the ground is likely to be very testing by this stage of the afternoon. The will suit FRENCH ideally and it will be a decisive factor in her setting the record straight with Blue Jacket, who was the main beneficiary when the selection met trouble in running the last time they met. Full Of Promise will also appreciate the conditions and merits a betting check, whereas Reflation has the assistance of a 7lb claimer so may not be so inconvenienced by topweight.
