Newbury maiden winner over 6f (soft) in September, well beaten there over 7f on second start. Returns from absence for handicap debut and remains open to further improvement.
Won an AW maiden at Newcastle over 7f in November in ready fashion, looks a capable sort and one to be on the right side of for this handicap debut and return to action.
Haydock maiden winner over 6f on final start as a 2yo, must leave last month's Pontefract reappearance / handicap bow well behind to hold a chance in this.
Newcastle maiden winner in October has plenty to find in this after last month's handicap bow at Pontefract.
Won on debut at Thirsk last June (6f, good-to-firm) and ended last season with excellent effort in Listed 6f Redcar contest. Given a chance on ratings if ready to go now.
Redcar maiden winner last season, was well beaten over this trip at Pontefract last month on handicap debut and will have to improve now to score from 2lb lower mark.
Finished close-up on debut at Wolverhampton over 7f before being beaten more comprehensively on his two starts thereafter to end last year. Handicap debut and will likely have to have improved over the winter to get off to winning start.
Very underwhelming in a 7f handicap at Naas (soft-to-heavy) in March and doesn't make any great appeal for this on current terms.
Maiden winner over 6f at Newcastle on AW in September, not disgraced in nursery runs at Ayr and York afterwards. Reappears here and looks up against it to hold some of these rivals.

WHAT'S THE STORY made a winning return to action at Musselburgh last month over 7f and might be up to a follow-up in this competitive contest. He ran well in maidens last year, should handle the ground and trip and has scope to improve. Handicap debutants Shenanigans and Keyser Soze are also capable of having a say and interest behind either would be notable, with Musawaat and Lady In Question other meriting serious thought, the latter on an excellent run in Listed company to end last year.
