Stable run two here both newcomers with the sales price of this one rising from a foal to a yearling by $160,000. Brother to a 7f juvenile winner Good Intent.

Stable won this in 2015 with Laurence and try again with this one who cost £120,000 as a two-year-old. First foal with the dam (maiden) being a half-sister to the smart 6f winner Presto Shinko.

One of six that have had a run in the race with this one having just had the one outing so far in a two-year-old backend maiden over a mile that has produced winners. Looked green and in need of the experience and should do better this season.

Well held when 33/1 in a 7f Lingfield AW maiden going with little promise and beating just one of his rivals home.

Started a single figures in both of his starts so far over 7f on the AW improving from first run to second and looking as though there will be more improvement to come. Switched to turf now and up in trip and could well put his experience to good use.

Beat just one home in a Windsor maiden over a mile on his initial outing when a 100/1 chance and only ran to a modest level and it looks likely that handicaps will be his best chance further down the line.
Looks to be the second string for this yard who cost £45,000 guineas as a yearling. Dam was unraced but out of the useful two-year-old 7f winner Queen Of Poland.

The second of two from this yard who are hard to split on jockey bookings. Cost €50,000 as a yearling and is a half-sister to 8f winner Tanawar and 1m2f winner Mesaria.
Showed a little more than her final placing when well held in a newcomers race at Newmarket over a mile (started at 125/1). Unfashionable in terms of stable and pedigree but her sole run suggested that she may have a little more ability than her price suggests.

Thafeerah25
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-0| J: Gavin Lerena| T: C Hills
2/1
Couple of runs have suggested that she is progressing with her return after a break looking promising although she was rather keen and she did take a very strong hold and needs the hood to settle her down. Might not necessarily need a mile given how keen she can be and while she remains with potential she could do with settling down.

Forecasts

Thafeera (2/1), Jus Pires (3/1), Tadween (4/1), La Rav (8/1), Good Business (8/1), Music Seeker (14/1), Warsaw Road (25/1), Upended (66/1), Tallulah's Quest (100/1), Nevasca (100/1)

Verdict

The fact that Thafeera wears a hood and can pull hard is slightly off putting as she tackles this relatively stiff mile any keenness may well count against her in the closing stages and make her slightly vulnerable. That trait may had the advantage to TADWEEN who is in the same ownership although a little behind on form looks a little more professional at the moment as both switch to turf for the first time. Most of the others with experience look as though they will be destined for handicaps and it may well be the newcomers that provide the dangers with the Noseda duo Jus Pires and Good Business respected along with the more favoured Cumani runner La Rav.
  1. Tadween
  2. Thafeera
  3. La Rav
