Verdict

A maximum field, and a race which promises to be hugely informative for the future, and it would be no surprise to see a few of these horses Royal Ascot bound next month. Previous winner GOLD TOWN sets the benchmark, and is difficult to oppose with the Appleby trained juveniles in imperious form. He would appear certain to be suited by this stiffer test of stamina, but does face a number of rather interesting looking rivals. These horses include the likes of Far Dawn, Indomeneo, Move it Move it, Rajasinghe, Rufus King and Shaheen.
