Returned to form when beaten 4L into second in a 6f Listed contest at Doncaster (good-to-soft) last month. Well beaten on good-to-firm ground at Newmarket subsequently but remains of interest here.
Winner of a conditions event over 6f on heavy ground at Hamilton in September last year. Well beaten twice since including at Doncaster last month and worth a check in the market here.
Finished runner-up off a 3lb higher mark over 6f at Epsom (good-to-soft) in June last year. Held in three subsequent outings and making his seasonal debut here.
Out of form on final three starts of last season but shaped better on first run since being gelded when weakening late on over 6f at Newmarket (good-to-firm). Interesting runner in this.
Beaten a short-head on good ground over 6f at Haydock on his penultimate outing in October last year. Well beaten at Doncaster later that month and debuts for a new yard here.
Registered a third career success when winning at Newmarket on good-to-firm ground over 6f last month. Well beaten off this 8lb higher mark subsequently and may find one or two too good here.
Beaten a head on his first run since being gelded over 5f on the AW at Chelmsford earlier this month. return to 6f looks likely to suit and an interesting runner here.
Finished runner-up when beaten a neck over 6f at Epsom (good) in August last year. Dropped back to 5f when well held the following month and makes his seasonal debut today.
Won six times from 18 starts on the AW and beaten over 10L when well beaten off a 24lb lower mark on his sole turf start in May last year. Interesting to see how he fares here.
Successful on his seasonal debut over 7f at Brighton (good-to-firm) last month and not beaten far when fourth over the same trip at Goodwood subsequently. One for the shortlist dropping in trip here.
Beaten 1¾L into fourth at Goodwood in a first time visor (left off since) in October last year. Well beaten on his seasonal debut at the same track earlier this month and blinkers return here.

CLEAR SPRING shaped better than has been the case in previous starts when making his first start since being gelded at Newmarket earlier this month. The selection weakened late on in that 6f contest and is likely to have come on for the run there. Of his rivals here Ice Age has already won this season and the drop in trip today shouldn't inconvenience him while Gunmetal who finished in front of the selection at Newmarket can claim third today.
- Clear Spring
- Ice Age
