Still a maiden on the Flat but ran well over C&D last month, so has claims if building on that performance. Was well held back over hurdles afterwards, though. And comes here with a bit to prove.
Finally rid herself of the maiden tag when scoring from a mark of just 52 at Tipperary last summer. She struggled under revised marks afterwards and starts her new campaign in the grip of the assessor. Rider's 10lb helps at the weights but more give in the ground would be a better boost for her claims.
0-from-11 so far but comes into this on the back of a solid effort at Limerick last month. Attractively weighted but others appear to be more consistent.
Unexposed and possible the step up in trip will bring about some form of improvement. But very little recommend him from three recent starts and probably best to look elsewhere for the winner.
On a long losing run but on a handy mark as a result. Latest effort reads respectably in the context of this race but worth bearing in mind that it's four years since he last won over this trip.
Just one win from 26 previous starts underlines her tendency to leave herself with too much to do. She is well treated on the pick of her form but it's not easy to pinpoint her best trip these days and is for the brave only.
A very infrequent winner these days but has plummeted to a very attractive mark. Needs to prove that he isn't just on the downgrade though.
Won over 2m over hurdles at this course in the past but recent evidence doesn't really suggest he has the pace for 10f. Hard to fancy on the balance of his form on the Flat.
Has stamina in abundance but is versatile regarding trip. May need a little give underfoot but arrives here in good form and cannot be discounted. Had the likes of Ripped well weld at Limerick last month and a repeat does will see him involved in the thick of the action once again.
Dual purpose performer that has paid his way over the year. His record on the Flat (on turf at least) isn't so great, however, and he may have to settle for a minor role unless the first-time blinkers force his hand.
Almost two years since his last win but has been lightly campaigned during the period. Recent form under both codes has been poor and it's hard to see him improving at his age.
Goes well at this course but was a disappointing favourite last time out and had previous been no match for Dixie Highway at Limerick in April. More required now.
Long-standing maiden that is running out of chances; first-time cheekpieces may help but the gut feeling is to oppose him on ground that may be quicker than he truly cares for.
Inconsistent performer with just one win to his name. Not hard to rule out over a trip that is insufficient for him.
Back on the Flat after a solid effort at Punchestown last time out. His record in this sphere leaves a lot to be desired, however, and others hold much stronger claims.
Unexposed but is yet to even hint at making the frame in any of his previous starts. May have more to offer over the trip but too much guesswork involved.
Solitary win came from a 10lb higher mark but he has been hit or miss for a while now and, given that his record on turf is poor, there are more than enough reasons to give him the swerve on this occasion.
Moved on swiftly from Mark Johnson last year and has yet to finish better than third in any of his previous races. His seasonal debut was nothing out of the ordinary (ninth of fourteen) and will be surprising if he is good enough.

Lucent Dream (7/2), The Last Marju (11/2), Dixie Highway (11/2), Ripped (6/1), Glib Speech (7/1), Meadow Cross (8/1), Manomine (8/1), Walkabout (10/1), Father Mattie (12/1), Crafty Codger (16/1), Byron Beauty (16/1), Hello Humpfrey (20/1), Bridgebrook (20/1), Kates Doll (25/1), Prince Jock (25/1), Stadius (25/1), Mosman (28/1), Malicious Intent (33/1), Cosmic Symbol (33/1), Streak (33/1), Tjukurrpa (66/1)
Every single one of these has a question to answer on one level or another. But LUCENT DREAMS has fewer to answer than most and get the tentative nomination as the one to be on. Dixie Highway knows what it takes to win a race and poses a serious threat, while Manomine is on a handy mark and also merits respect even though he is very hard to predict. The Last Marju is forwarded as the best of the remainder.
