Cost 15,500 gns and is a half-brother to 6f and 7f winners in Europe. Not shown much in three starts so far and likely others will quickly have his measure if he doesn't improve.
Appeals on breeding and a mile should be well within his compass. Likely to do better over further as well, so not everything depends on a bold show tonight.
Showed promise in his first couple of outings but occasional signs of temperament didn't do him any favours last term. Can be slowly away, which isn't a great attribute for racing at this course. But feasible the first-time headgear will help him keep his mind ion the job.
Cost €30,000 and is a half-brother to a trio of winners (none of whom scored over a mile though). His dam did win over 10f, however, so a case can be made for him over the trip. The betting will help in terms of indicating his readiness for the run.
The form of his debut run has taken a few knocks and worth noting that he was a disappointing favourite over 7f when last seen at this course. The step up to a mile should suit but he has already had his limitations exposed and isn't one to trust implicitly; especially given the likelihood of only cramped odds being available. All that said, this only his third start and it's unfeasible to think such a well-bred colt can't find a race before too long.
Only a modest effort on debut and given that her dam needed 1m6f to be seen at her best, she makes limited appeal over this trip.
A mile suits on pedigree but she needs to improve out of all recognition after doing everything wrong on her debut at Limerick last month.
Looks the part on breeding and is well drawn for her debut run. Also a big plus that her stable is going great guns. Well worth noting in the betting at least.
Got going too late to have an impact on her debut at Gowran Park but should have derived plenty of benefit from the run. Represents a highly respected yard and improvement likely, but could have been better drawn.
Represents the top trainer at this track, whose impressive strike-rate stands at nearly 19% from 70 runner at Cork over the last three years. Pedigree is stacked with high-class performers and interesting that she makes her debut at a winnable level. Needs to overcome a poor draw but Pats Smullen (also top jockey on the Flat at Cork) knows how to ride this course better than most. the filly heads the shortlist on potential alone.
Has a likeable pedigree and went for €100,000 as a yearling. Didn't show much on debut, however, and may be best watched even though the step up in distance ought to suit her.

Venezuela (7/4), Moritzburg (7/2), Belle Boyd (4/1), Conversely (9/2), Elmaliya (10/1), Guthanna Gaoithe (10/1), Lone Survivor (20/1), Travelwise (50/1), Aunty Audrey (66/1), Bella Rua (66/1), Moral Fibre (66/1), Dignified Air (100/1)
Plenty of these appeal as horses to keep close to hand for future reference; most notably the well-bred ELMALIYA, who is has a sterling pedigree and, given that she represents the top jockey and trainer combination for this particular course, a bold show is expected. Venezuela is sure to be a popular choice and has a valuable edge in terms of experience. He does need to improve for the step up to a mile and, as he proved last time out, he isn't one to trust implicitly at cramped odds. Moral Fibre and Conversely are others to bear in mind to fill the frame.
