Won three claimers for William Haggas but was found out when upped in grade in two starts for this new yard so far, drops down a grade and off 1lb lower rating now.
Making first start in 276 days, but wasn't far off last time over 6f and claimer eases burden now off same mark. Handles track and forecast ground.
Maiden winner over 6f at Chelmsford in December when last spotted, has run well at this track in sole previous visit (7f, soft) and is one to note on handicap debut.
Took advantage of a drop in the weights to win over 7f at Kempton on his second handicap start last month. Handicapper got excited about that and put him up 11lb, which looked far too much last time in better company at Newbury over 7f. Immediate 5lb reduction will help cause and back in calmer waters now.
Was all out to win Wolverhampton maiden over this trip last month on just second start, switches to turf / handicaps now and isn't to be discounted with potential for more improvement to come.
Placed in all three maiden runs in Britain, over 5f-6f and a beaten favourite in his last two, uncompetitive on handicap bow at Leicester a week ago and may need upcoming reassessment to aid cause.
Improved throughout her juvenile campaign, ending with success in a Windsor maiden (5f, soft). Her profile suggests she may continue on an upward curve and is one to be respected for this handicap debut.
Got off the mark last time at the seventh attempt. Interesting to see how he fares now returns to turf (maiden win was on Polytrack), though this mark may turn out to be a little high for him on handicap bow.
Competitive in 5f handicaps at Nottingham and Beverley recently, latterly off this mark, upped in trip now seeking turf breakthrough at the ninth attempt.
Won a 5f handicap at Chepstow in September off a mark of 54, found things tough since and looks in need of a drop in the weights that is coming her way.

Forecasts
Scorching Heat (5/2), Glory of Paris (4/1), Comprise (11/2), Foxcatcher (6/1), Qatari Riyals (6/1), Monteamiata (6/1), Otomo (13/2), Coastal Cyclone (9/1), Nibras Again (10/1), Red Alert (12/1), Miss Icon (12/1), Stringybark Creek (14/1), Kings Academy (16/1), Harbour Town (20/1), Dandy Flame (22/1), Rebel Heart (25/1)
A wide open contest and plenty will be seeking to lay a claim, Otomo is a likely pace angle but may struggle to replicate Brighton success now hit with a 7lb hike. Scorching Heat has form on the track but must defy an absence while Qatari Riyals could improve again and be involved in the shake-up. Foxcatcher and Coastal Cyclone are to be noted on respective handicap debuts but this might to the way of COMPRISE. He was well-placed on handicap bow over this trip at Yarmouth recently and just failed to last out, with a useful claim in his favour now, the lightly-raced gelding has decent claims of going one better.
- Comprise
- Qatari Riyals
- Scorching Heat
