Sepoy colt, cost 30,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to a moderate AW sprinter but dam was a half-sister to two Grade 1 winners. May not want soft ground and trainer has been a little quiet of late.

Havana Gold colt, cost €32,000 as a foal and £30,000 as a yearling. Well beaten on debut and likely this juvenile will want more of a stamina test than this.

2/1
Holy Roman Emperor colt, cost 30,000 gns as a yearling. Dam was a half-sister to Group placed and a fair bit of speed in her pedigree and not beaten far on debut, albeit finished fourth of six. Should come on for that and booking of top jockey a bonus.

Farhh colt, cost 20,000 gns as a yearling. Dam was an unraced half-sister to Caulfield Cup winner All The Good, out of half-sister to three-time Group 1 winner Ramruma.

Excelebration colt, 20,000 gns as a yearling. Dam was an unraced half-sister to two-time Group 3 winner Fair Trade and to Listed winner Village Fete. May want a little further than this but any market support would likely be significant.

Dark Angel filly, cost €40,000 as a yearling. Dam was a two-year-old 5f winner, half-sister to Group 2 winner Emerald Commander out of Racing Post Trophy winner Commander Collins. Fair debut, travelling well before getting a little outpaced in the closing stages. Form of that effort looks solid with the winner and the fourth placed horses coming out and winning since and this step up in trip will suit. Leading contender.
Sepoy colt, cost 15,000 gns as a foal. Half-brother to six winners, sprinters among them, and yard's debutantes warrant plenty of respect.
Dark Angel filly, cost €15,000 as a yearling and £16,000 as a breeze-up purchase. Dam was a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Devious Boy. Some speed in her pedigree but yard have been a little quiet of late and others preferred this time around.

Sayif filly, cost 20,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to 5f Listed-placed Union Rose (who also won at the age of two), dam was a half-sister to Group-placed Taajub. Trainer amongst the winners in recent weeks and expected to come on for her debut at Windsor when she looked green from the gate. Better expected this time.

Camacho filly, cost €4,500 as a foal, €7,000 as a yearling and £16,000 as a breeze-up purchase. Dam a 1m winner out of French 1m2½f-1m4f winning half-sister to 1m4f Group One winner and Arc third Cavalryman. Pedigree all about getting much further than this and evidence of her debut run suggested as much when she couldn't get competitive and finished 12th of 15.

Horse silk
25/1
Kyllachy filly, cost 12,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a 1m winner out of Group placed granddaughter of Park Hill winner Madame Dubois. Fair effort on debut at Leicester when fifth of 15 but yard have a low-strike rate with their juveniles.

Horse silk
8/1
Bated Breath filly, cost £10,000 as a yearling. Dam a winner over a mile who was a half-sister to a German 6f Listed winner Penmaen. Yard capable of readying a new one so market check essential.

Horse silk
33/1
Has struggled on all three outings to date and likely to be seen to be better effect in handicaps.

Forecasts

Red Roman (2/1), Gold Filigree (6/1), Mysaan (7/1), Simply Breathless (8/1), If We Can Can (8/1), Iconic Sunset (12/1), Cent Flying (14/1), Amazing Alice (16/1), Initiative (20/1), Nampara (25/1), Controversial Lady (33/1), Terri Rules (66/1), Aldbury Lass (66/1)

Verdict

GOLD FILIGREE's debut was impressive and she may be seen to better effect now she's stepped up in trip. Red Roman showed enough on debut to suggest he has the ability to take a race of this nature at some stage and the booking of De Sousa suggests a big run is expected. Iconic Sunset is beautifully bred and may be able to run a place.
  1. Gold Filigree
  2. Red Roman
  3. Iconic Sunset
