Failed to beat any of five rivals home in 2m bumper at Cork on debut 176 days ago on heavy ground. More needed now meeting this predicted sounder surface.

Disappointing in bumpers at Leopardstown and Navan earlier in the year, appears best watched for now unless market suggests confidence.

A €31,000 3yo Court Cave gelding, he's a half-brother to six winner and has a good jockey booking for this racecourse bow.
Strongly supported and easy winner on sole point-to-point outing this far, that was just over a year ago but has got to be respected on first rules start and one to monitor in the betting.

Beneficial gelding weakened out of things quickly when seventh of 11 runners on last month's rules bow at Fairyhouse in a 2m bumper, gets tongue strap added now.

Found only the favourite too good at Fairyhouse last month on first start for this trainer, beating some of these rivals home as he did. Can improve for that run and takes front rank again.

Narrowly denied on rules bow at Kilbeggan last month over a longer trip under this rider. Must have decent chance of scoring now dropped in distance.
Breeding has suggested better can be expected than we've seen in three racecourse appearances so far, hard to be confident just now however.

Fourth of nine, beaten 33L, in 2m heavy ground bumper at Clonmel in February on debut, could improve on that effort now and hold place claims.
Captain Rio gelding represents small yard that don't have many bumper runners, record of 1/8 in the previous 12 months.
Echo of Light gelding represents trainer that has saddled just three bumper runners over the previous 12 months, without success. Watch market but appears an unlikely debut winner.
Well and truly beaten off in a selling hurdle at Downpatrick 12 days ago over 2m2f on first racecourse outing, needs to improve for switch to bumpers / drop in trip.
Beneficial mare makes first start here and represents trainer in super form of late, needs a market check.

Poor run in 2m2f bumper at this track last month on debut, drops in trip this time and will need to be much-improved to stand a winning chance.

Improved effort on third start when beaten around 11L in sixth of 12 in C&D bumper in January sporting first-time tongue strap. Needs to improve again to take this prize.

Solid effort in Grade Three Mares Flat Race over C&D last month puts her right in the mix for this pot taking on the boys again.

Forecasts

Narcissistic (7/2), Simone (9/2), Court Tycoon (9/2), Lighthouse Warrier (5/1), Peacocks Secret (13/2), Rio For Pleasure (10/1), Scotch Beg (16/1), Reelingintheyears (16/1), Biennial (20/1), Benefit Of Magic (25/1), Luso Benny (33/1), Themustardman (33/1), Beeper's Ruby (50/1), Psychedelic Rock (50/1), Robyn De Good (50/1), Ballinlongig (66/1)

Verdict

LIGHTHOUSE WARRIER easily won a point-to-point last May in his only prior outing, he was supported then so any money behind him now should be noted and the booking of the champion amateur isn't missed either. He has the talent to score in this field. Peacocks Secret went very close on debut at Kilbeggan and, with the drop in trip to suit, is greatly respected now. Simone's effort in graded company at the festival here last month ensures she looks capable of winning soon while Narcissistic and Scotch Beg, last time out improvers both, are going in the right direction.
  1. Lighthouse Warrier
  2. Peacocks Secret
  3. Simone
