Beaten by around 3L by Prairie Impulse over C&D earlier this month, and slightly better off at the weights today, but is a tough customer to catch right and hasn't won over hurdles since winning from a mark of 114 at Hexham in June 2014. On a decent mark nevertheless, more so, with a 10lb claimer booked.
Good ground winner for previous trainer Neil Mulholland at Southwell in August 2016 (2m), and only 2lb higher today. However sold cheaply (£4,500) in November and finished last of ten over hurdles for this trainer at Wetherby in April.
Showed ability on the Flat for Andrew Balding but has looked very limited in five spins over hurdles to date. Makes his handicap debut, with the cheek-pieces applied for his most recent start at Hexham discarded.
15 race maiden, and appears regressive. Always behind and pulled up on handicap debut at Southwell last month (2m good).
Twice a winner over hurdles between May and July 2016 and races today from a mark of 90 (which he scored from at Hexham (2m good)). Never able to challenge when fourth to Dear Sire at Wetherby last month and definitely of more interest than many of these runners.
Longstanding maiden, but regularly placed in these low grade contests. Often doesn't find too much off the bridle, but not helped when hit across the face by a rivals whip when ½L second to Prairie Impulse over C&D latest. Obvious contender despite a 2lb rise.
Appeared an odd acquisition for a leading trainer (41 race maiden), but off the mark in style at the first attempt for this yard at Plumpton on Sunday (well backed). Obvious chance if turned out quickly under a penalty (before being reassessed), but with any excessive rainfall perhaps a negative.
Not too much in the way of positivity to be taken from his thirteen race career, but he does at least know his way around here after finishing a well beaten fifth on his penultimate start in March. First time cheek-pieces tried.
Once with Marco Botti on the Flat, but his jumps career has tailed off badly after minor early promise as a novice. Falling sharply in the weights (down 25lb since October 2016), but with good reason.
Won over 7F at Brighton on the Flat for David Dennis in June 2015, but has plenty of letters in his recent Point-to-Point form and finished behind Prairie Impulse, Hey Bob and Bell Weir when sixth of ten over C&D recently.
Winless in 37 starts, and no reason whatsoever to make it 38th time lucky this afternoon despite being eased 6lb for his last two starts.

Prairie Impulse, Hey Bob, Bell Weir and Dylan's Storm all clashed in a similar contest here twelve days ago, and there isn't too much between three of that quarter. The frustrating Bell Weir looks best placed to take advantage of a fair mark if putting his best foot forward, and it would be no surprise to see the top-weight come out best of that quarter today. Too Many Diamonds made an emphatic start for Dan Skelton at Plumpton on Sunday, and on that evidence he should take the beating under a penalty, but he's most likely to be over-bet, and with rainfall forecast in the area, he does have a few minor question marks to address. Therefore, a chance is taken with MAGNOLIA RIDGE. A dual winner over hurdles in 2016, he's slowly coming back to form, and appears on a very competitive mark in a fairly open looking contest (the Skelton trained runner aside).
