Ran well to finish 5L fourth of 12 on debut at Dundalk over 1m last month and shaped better than the bare result suggests when weakening into eighth at Limerick on good ground later that month. More needed to take this however.
Successful three times over hurdles and once over fences so far. Yet to beat a rival home in two Flat efforts including in a claiming event at Clonmel last month and best watched here.
Sent off favourite on bumper debut at Thurles in March but beat just one horse home and beaten 54L in a competitive bumper at Punchestown (good-to-yielding) subsequently. Hood worn on most recent start dispensed with for Flat debut.
Promising effort over an extended 7f at Tipperary (good-to-firm) in August. Finished third on that occasion but well beaten on seasonal debut at Cork earlier this month and a bit to prove here.
Had just one start for previous yard but signs of ability in two runs for this stable last month. Beaten 2¼L into fifth over this trip at Limerick (good) on the second of those efforts and an interesting runner in this.
Beaten 4L into 11th in a 16 runner maiden at Limerick (good) on debut last month. Capable of improvement and no surprise to see him surprise a few better fancied rivals today.
Had five starts for previous yard including when runner-up off a mark of 81 in a first time hood at Sandown (good-to-soft) over 7f in July. Unraced since disappointing at Newmarket later that month and likely to run well on debut for new stable here.
Beaten 2L last time out when finishing fourth of 16 over 1m at Limerick (good) last month. Had previously been well beaten at Dundalk on debut and worth a check in the market here.
Beaten 20L into ninth at Dundalk on debut last September but stepped up on that when beaten less than 1L in a 1m maiden at Limerick (good) last month on debut for this yard. A repeat of that effort would see her go close in this.
Maiden after 19 outings including two for this yard so far. Beaten 26L in a handicap at Cork over an extended 1m last time out and appears to have regressed since placing off marks in the 70's last summer.
Unraced daughter of Baltic King. Half-sister to moderate winning handicapper Peinora and probably best watched on her belated debut today.
Forecasts
Silk Cravat (5/6), Rimshot (4/1), Golden Dandy (8/1), Buttermere (8/1), Pari Passu (12/1), Allegio (12/1), Intense Stylist (25/1), Nevsky (25/1), Orinoco River (33/1), Beautiful Ben (50/1), Penny Pekan (50/1)
GOLDEN DANDY stepped up on her debut effort when making a promising start to this season in finishing runner-up on her debut for this stable at Limerick last month. The softer ground is an unknown here but she is taken to defeat Silk Cravat who had some useful form on turf in handicap company for her previous stable with Rimshot taken to get the better of Pari Passu to take third place.
- Golden Dandy
- Silk Cravat
- Pari Passu
