Connections of Naupaka have cause for optimism on that front in that her dam won over a similar trip, while both Kiruna Peak and Cray have raced as is the extra yardage will be to their advantage. Newt is one to watch in the market as her trainer has pulled off this trick many times before, but it might be worth chancing SHERIFF GARRETT, who has plummeted in the handicap and is another whose recent outing suggests that this distance is within range.
