Two good efforts interspersed with two mediocre ones, and took a heavy beating at odds-on on her second start. Burst a blood vessel last time, which explains that effort, and best form entitles her to respect here, Always the worry that physical issues may hold her back, but can''t be discounted.

Looked like this sort of trip would suit when a staying on fifth to easy winner Copper Kay at Chepstow, and this lightly raced sort may well improve again today. Yard going well and as a half-sister to the useful hurdler/chaser Generous Ransom, should be up to making an impression here.

Not a bad effort at Exeter in March when a close enough third to the useful Carnspindle, but went out like a light at Southwell and now needs to put that effort behind her. Suspicion is that there's a race in her, but this may not be it. Still a bit to prove at this trip.

Every chance on the form she showed at Taunton and Leicester but a bit disappointing at Huntingdon last tie out when well fancied to win, failing to quicken at a key stage and ultimately well beaten. Hard to know what to expect after that effort, and something to prove now.

No win in ten starts for three different yards so far, and the addition of a tongue-tie at Leicester last time didn't produce any improvement. Others make far more appeal.

Useful for Peter Chapple-Hyam on the Flat and rattled off a three-timer in handicaps last summer, and although highly tried on both hurdles starts for current yard, has shown ability. This is easier but needs this for a handicap mark. Cheekpieces applied for the first time.

Forecasts

Comely (15/8), Pleasure Dome (5/2), Little Acorn (11/4), Corrie Loch (7/1), Gowell (25/1), Raising Hope (50/1)

Verdict

Nothing here has a rock-solid profile and all have some sort of question to answer. CORRIE LOCH is open to more improvement to a few here and with the yard going well, can build on her Chepstow effort, with the extra distance here likely to prove beneficial. Little Acorn and Comely both have patchy profiles but their best form puts them in the firing line. Gowell and Pleasure Dome both have races in them but may need to wait for another day.
  1. Corrie Loch
  2. Little Acorn
  3. Comely
