Promising start over this trip at Navan recently when close up fifth of 18, beaten under 3L. Can improve for that run now and will surely lay down a bold bid in this.
Scat Daddy colt cost $500,000 as a foal, is American bred and should relish a speed test on the forecast surface. One of three for the trainer, looks an exciting prospect.
War Front colt was a shade disappointing on debut at Naas earlier in the month over 5f, goes up in distance here and should be capable of leaving that effort behind before too long.
Another War Front colt and the third representative from Ballydoyle in this six-runner field. Any support in the market will be worth noting.

Lope De Vega filly is nicely related to a handful of winners and represents a yard that are going well and that tends to do well with juveniles, though this is no easy starting point.
Dream Ahead filly cost €80,000 as a yearling, represents powerful dual-purpose trainer that continues to be in good form. No surprise to see her acquitting well on first start.

Forecasts

U S Navy Flag (9/4), Murillo (5/2), Black Sails (10/3), Another Batt (7/1), War Ensign (8/1), Its My Turn (12/1)

Verdict

A trappy contest where none of the sextet can be easily ruled out. Another Batt easily boasts the best form on his Navan debut and should build on it but that might not be enough to score. U S Navy Flag didn't set the world alight on his recent debut and may be vulnerable to a pair of newcomers from his own yard. Murillo is bred for speed and may be better over the minimum this season given time so the vote goes to WAR ENSIGN, whose out of War Front and could have a promising 2yo season ahead. Black Sails and Its My Turn are by no means out of this on their respective debuts.
  1. War Ensign
  2. Another Batt
  3. Murillo
