Winner of his penultimate outing by 5L over 2m at Ludlow (good) last month. Since finished well beaten in an amateur riders handicap on the Flat at Wolverhampton and interesting to see how he fares off a light weight here.

Forecasts

Destiny's Gold (9/4), Mortens Leam (7/2), Star Foot (4/1), Anton Dolin (10/1), Centuro (12/1), Jodies Jem (14/1), Fort Carson (16/1), Marju's Quest (16/1), Trapper Peak (20/1), Samoset (22/1), Ninepointsixthree (25/1)

Verdict

DESTINY'S GOLD was a late faller when holding chances on his debut for this stable earlier this month but can make amends by taking this competitive handicap hurdle. The selection has placed off higher marks than he races off here in the past and can get the better of the maiden Mortens Leam who ran well at Wetherby last time out with last years winner Marju's Quest taken to take advantage of a falling handicap mark by finishing third in this years renewal.
  1. Destiny's Gold
  2. Mortens Leam
  3. Marju's Quest
