In a solid vein of form over hurdles last summer, but has his limitations in that sphere, and recent efforts over timber have left plenty to be desired. Opposable switched to fences.
Half-brother to Irish Grand National winner Niche Market. Won a bumper for Colm Murphy and runner-up on debut for current yard over hurdles. Never involved on either start over fences, and looks one for handicaps down the line.
Strapping gelding who went close on hurdles bow and built on that when winning at Wexford in October. Ran poorly next time, but given a break and sure to be well schooled for chase debut in cheekpieces. Yard won this last year.
Fairly useful handicap hurdler, although ran rare poor race in that sphere at Punchestown last month. Tongue tie fitted for chase debut, and claims for all flat-orientated pedigree raises doubts he'll prove as good over fences.
Not long with current yard, and much improved when winning brace of handicaps over hurdles last month, the latter over 3m here. Has plenty of scope to jump fences, and respected for all this is a tougher task on paper.
Fairly useful form when winning three times over hurdles last summer, and made favourite for chase debut at Down Royal recently, but just a moderate third there, and cheekpieces added to usual tongue tie now.
Winner over hurdles at Downpatrick (23f) in August, but only fair form over fences so far, albeit kept to shorter trips in the main. Steps up in distance on return from a break now, so may do better.
Runner-up in handicap hurdles at Down Royal (20f) and Cork (3m) last season, his latest effort as good as anything he's achieved, and not ruled out switched to fences for yard in sparkling form.
Won on hurdles debut at Tramore (21f) for Colin Bowe last August, but beaten a long way over fences on first start for current yard last month, and something to prove now.
Won handicap hurdle at Tramore (2m) last summer, and runner-up on chase debut at Clonmel in October. Unseated first next time, but can be competitive if ready to go on return from a break.
Runner-up over hurdles at Downpatrick in March 2016, and similar form when fourth on recent chase debut there, just behind Rise of An Empire. Plenty more required now.
Almost three years since sole win at Ballinrobe, and behind a couple of these on chase debut at Downpatrick recently.

FLAVIANA ran into one on her chase debut, and this course winner will be hard to beat with her yard continuing in great form. Prince Garyantle's recent hurdles wins have come at a modest level, but he's clearly much improved for Matthew Smith, and should make a chaser, a comment which also applies to Burndown, representing last year's winning stable.
