A £17,000 2yo Sir Prancealot colt he is a half-brother to several winners and should have no problems with this trip on debut. Worth a market check to guide expectations.

Intikhab gelding cost €37,000 as a yearling and looks like one to note on debut for trainer in useful form. One of two for the yard in this.

Another Intikhab gelding for the Lyons team, he cost €41,000 as a foal and is nicely related. Market may prove best guide to the stablemates in this line-up.

Proud Citizen colt cost $42,000 as a yearling and represents yard in decent form, ensuring he's to be noted in the betting ahead of this first start on the track.

A relatively inexpensive filly out of Choisir, she comes to the track for the first time and may have limited expectations in against some decent colts unless the market vibes suggest different.

Well beaten off in a 1m1f maiden on soft ground at Gowran Park recently, needs to improve significantly for switch to AW to get competitive.

Vale of York filly shouldn't have any problem getting the mile, yard are not exactly flying on all cylinders lately however.

Filly was essentially a bit disappointing in six runs as a 2yo, reappears now after 184 days off and could have more to offer this year. Worth a glance in the market for these connections.

Forecasts

Roman Wells (6/5), Spiral Galaxy (3/1), Teo's Music (6/1), Spiritual Law (7/1), Storm Ryker (8/1), Indoctrination (16/1), Machine Head (25/1), Petite Gina (28/1), Burns Wild (40/1), Sally Gap (50/1), Surfside (66/1)

Verdict

Spiral Galaxy and Spiritual Law are both interesting newcomers on paper and it wouldn't be a surprise to see either going well on debut. Given they are out of the same yard, the market may be able to guide expectations for them. The filly Teo's Music could have more to offer now returning as a 3yo while Storm Ryker is also worth keeping an eye on. ROMAN WELLS boasts the best form and has already bumped into some talented sorts, with more improvement now tackling the mile for the first time on his third start, he could grab this prize.
  1. Roman Wells
  2. Teo's Music
  3. Spiral Galaxy
