Well out of her depth in maiden company during the spring of 2016, shaping with very little promise in three starts between 7F and 1m2f. Up in trip after almost twelve months off and likely to struggle.

Placed on three occasions last term, including twice over 1m4f. Outpaced on her handicap debut at Bath last month (1m2f firm) in a small field contest, and now steps back up in trip in maiden company.
Unraced second foal by Aussie Rules out of Astrodiva. A half-sister to 1m2f German winner Heavensfield, and hails from a family that her trainer knows very well. Others appear to hold stronger claims.

Stepped up on her two starts as a juvenile (both over 1m) when finishing ½L second to Stepney in a 1m4f maiden fillies contest on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton last month. Up in trip on a different surface but considered.

Her Queen's Vase Stakes entry looks optimistic, but this Galileo filly cost 400,000 gns as a yearling and posted a reasonable staying on 5½L third to Gracious Diana at Newbury late last month (1m2f). She has previous experience of this track, and this step up in trip looks right up her street.

Filly by Derby winner Sir Percy out of Royal Patron, and a sister to 1m2f and 1m4f winner Royal Warranty. Never better than midfield on her Newbury debut (1m) in October 2016, she returns upped sharply in trip on her AW debut with improvement likely.

Looked green and inexperienced on her Lingfield debut in January (1m2f), but has slowly improved since. Her recent (March 2017) 3L second to Count Octave at Wolverhampton didn't come in a strong 1m4f maiden, and she might prove vulnerable to a finisher if setting the pace tonight.

A regular wearer of the hood and blinkers and has been well beaten on both of her career starts so far over 1m at Kempton in early April, and over 1m4f at Wolverhampton last week.

Forecasts

Inconceivable (10/11), Utopian Dream (9/4), Tuolumne Meadows (9/2), Munstead Star (9/1), Haldaw (16/1), Astroshadow (50/1), Vaudieu (66/1), Theydon Girls (66/1)

Verdict

A race in which the 400,000 guineas yearling INCONCEIVABLE stands out on both pedigree and form. She appeared likely to need a longer trip when posting a solid staying on third in a 1m2f Newbury fillies maiden last month, and with previous experience of this surface as a juvenile, she sets the benchmark for the others to achieve.
  1. Inconceivable
  2. Munstead Star
  3. Utopian Dream
