Went close in a Chelmford maiden and then ran on well to break his duck at Wolverhampton last time (7f). Tough enough mark to start handicapping from here, but stable in form and every chance that he can maintain his progress and have a big say.
4lb higher than when taking a Wolverhampton handicap (6f) in September when with Brian Meehan. Left that trainer after being beaten next time and not hugely competitive on first start for this yard at Lingfield in February. Step up in trip looks positive but has a bit to prove.
Stepped up on his debut to win nicely when supported second time out at Lingfield (7f) in December. Looked to have a fair bit more to come on that evidence and makes his handicap debut from what looks a reasonable mark. Market check again advised.
Best form so far has been with some cut in the ground, including when winning his 6f Chester maiden in September. Looked in need of reappearance at Wolverhampton and a 2lb drop will help, though does have one or two questions to answer.
Placed in all three maiden runs in Britain, over 5f-6f and a beaten favourite in his last two. Dan was a 6f winner, although half-sister to a 1m2f Listed winner, so this step up in trip may be positive for this handicap debut from a reasonable mark.
Landed a Lingfield maiden last August (7½f, good to firm) and ran well in defeat when last seen in a Newmarket handicap over today's trip in October. Since left Richard Hannon and makes debut for new in-form yard today from same mark and could have a big say. Market check advised.
Well beaten in novices' events last year and a recent Lingfield maiden over 1m. Half-brother to a 7f winner and others over at least 1m. Has not been given a taxing handicap mark for his debut in this sphere and stable is among the winners. Support for him would be very interesting.
Has done better on both starts since being gelded, winning the most recent one at Beverley (7½f, good to firm) last week from the same mark as he on here. Looks to have strong claims of a follow-up.

Forecasts
Ejaaby (6/4), Il Sicario (3/1), Pennsylvania Dutch (7/2), Private Mission (15/2), Dourado (8/1), Archer's Arrow (8/1), Kings Academy (10/1), Spun Gold (10/1), Abiento (14/1), Giennah (33/1), Glory of Paris (33/1)
A competitive heat, with IL SICARIO just taken to add to his Beverley win of last week from the same mark again today. Spun Gold and Private Mission both merit more than just a cursory glance in the market and a win for either would not surprise, while Archer's Arrow and Ejaaby should be competitive along with Kings Academy, although most feared is Pennsylvania Dutch.
