Won a Plumpton novices' hurdle in November (2m, good), but well held in handicaps since. Still has to prove he stays this far, but sure to have been well schooled ahead of this chasing debut from a workable mark and a market check is advised.
Heavy ground point-to-point winner on debut in that sphere and has made the frame three times under rules when there has been an emphasis on stamina. Although this is not a hot contest, she is going to need to come up with more than she has on her two chase starts so far.
Rated 117 over hurdles, but barely got competitive in a recent spell with Richard Phillips and now makes his debut for this yard. Tongue tie now added and if able to run to his ability then he would look well handicapped. Market check strongly advised to gauge confidence.
0-10 but has been runner-up in three of his last four starts over fences and unseated when going well up front in the other. Again looks competitive from this mark but clearly vulnerable.
Has changed hands several times, with no trainer able to eek a win out of her and no encouragement from what we have seen in two recent starts over fences. Best watched.
Related to a couple of chasing winners at up to 2m5f, but yet to make the frame from eight attempts and now makes his chasing debut from a lowly mark. Even so, he is impossible to recommend from what we have seen of him on the racecourse.
Made the frame in a Bangor handicap hurdle last year (2m3½f, heavy) from a mark of 75 and goes into this chasing debut full of confidence after completing a hat-trick in point-to-points in the last three months.
Maiden point-to-point winner last year on fast ground but her rules record leaves plenty to be desired, hence this mark for her chasing debut. Will need to improve on what we have seen to take a hand.
Won a Worcester novices' hurdle in 2013 and was runner-up in a couple of chases here, including over C&D on soft ground. Over two years since he was good enough to win a point-to-point and despite a decent effort last time he is 2lb out of the handicap and others make more appeal.
10lb out of the handicap after a string of defeats. Appreciates good ground and this sort of trip, but clearly has plenty to do to get competitive.

A very weak contest where a market check is advised to gauge any confidence in the possible return to form of some of them, but without that knowledge the suggestion is SPEED DEMON, whose yard can certainly help to bring about a change in fortunes and if Dan Skelton can get him to run to something like his hurdling ability then he would look well treated. Code Of Law is a more solid option, but is clearly vulnerable, while Citrus is the other one most feared.
